Harry the Kid and a Cowgirl Baby

I asked Harry what he wanted to be for Halloween a good month ago and he said a horse.  He then said he wanted Georgia Kelley to be a cow.  Daddy nixed the cow idea and we manipulated Harry into wanting her to be a cow-girl!  His costume turned into a cowboy!IHarry was stoked that the Great Pumpkin came.  He was the most excited about Monsters vs. Aliens(not Monster's Ink, my mistake). Of course his pants came off in the middle of the night because he peed in his diaper. We are completely regressing in our potty training....any advice?

He is one wild cowboy! We are done here!  Tonight Chad and I are taking Harry to the church carnival and then to a few houses to trick or treat.  Chad's parents are bravely staying with Georgia Kelley.  I say bravely because they are watching her during her worst hour of the day, we have started calling it witching hour!

2 Weeks Old on the Night of the Great Pumpkin

G is for Georgia Kelley and T is for Two Weeks....so cheesy, I know! One of our family traditions is a visit from the Great Pumpkin on Halloween Eve! It was started by my mom when we were little. I have continued the tradition since Harry was born but felt weird about blogging it until he could truly appreciate it.  This year the Great Pumpkin forgot until this morning!  So, Georgia Kelley and I had to make a quick trip to pick up some "junk" to leave for her and Harry!  Actually, the GP will not be leaving much for GK because, she really can't appreciate it and how much junk can you find for a baby that they don't already have...right?  The truth is I wanted to spend the money/ gift card on a long movie for Harry..okay I said it!  Monsters Ink is a super cute movie by the way!
That whole story was to say that we went out this morning and it was cold and Georgia Kelley was great!  I know all these pictures look the same but, I like to capture every face.  After looking back on the posts about Harry as a newborn I really appreciate the plethera of pictures I posted.  We have a new computer since Harry was born and it is a pain to go back and get our pictures off the storage drive.  I once again am very thankful for blogspot!  My new friend gave this shirt to Georgia Kelley after I ordered several for friends and family birthday presents.  So, if you are reading this and you are a close friend or family with a birthday or party coming up....yours will look like this too!
Harry spent last night and today with his Mimi and Papa!  I know he is loving it because he has a bunch of cars to play with and some of his favorite company!

2 Days Away from 2 Weeks!!

She is growing!  She has outgrown some of her newborn clothes already!  She is starting to cry too!  She doesn't do that too much but, she didn't do it at all until the last 2 days!  I am the farthest from a hermit but, the last two weeks I have really enjoyed being in the house! I think it is because I have had company.  This week my mom came for 2 wonderful days! She is amazingly helpful! Chad said he wished she was here more! I completely agree!Even Harry lets me know when Georgia Kelley doesn't have a bow in her hair!  He cracks me up!My dad came up early this morning and spent the whole day with Harry!  They left at 9 and came back at 3:30 with a lot of great adventure stories!  Harry is adjusting well with his baby!  Thebiggest thing I have noticed is that he is thriving on getting attention.  That is why Bobo taking him for the day and giving him his undivided attention was just what the doctor ordered!  Melissa came and took pictures of Georgia Kelley today too! I am dying to see them!
I plan on starting to get out next week! I don't thinkwe will go far but, just enough to keep Mr. Harry busy! Next week will be a true test to how well I manage being a mom of two!

10 Days Old

We had a our first night that she did not sleep like we would like.  I am putting her on a schedule, not a strict one but, one that can get her sleeping through the night quicker...let's hope!  Chad goes back to work tomorrow and we are all so sad! This last week has felt like a vacation, even if we didn't leave the house.  The first week with Georgia Kelley was a perfect world:)  My mom and dad are coming this week to help out and then Harry is spending the night with Mimi and Papa on Thursday night.  I don't think Harry has made it harder but, I haven't been by myself yet either!

Daddy and Georgia Kelley

Harry and I are not the only ones in love!

Georgia Kelley Meets the Millers

The Millers came to meet Georgia Kelley and here is when they came to visit Harry at our house! They have added to their family and cut their hair in the last three years:)!  We loved their visit!  The meal was so yummy and the company was even better!Harry was so happy to have McCoy over to play and McCoy was so sweet to Georgia Kelley! They also brought one of Georgia Kelley's cutest outfits, I can't wait for her to wear it!   Harry only got to attend a little bit of McCoy's party on Saturday, so they brought back the party favors and Harry is still playing with them this morning!
We had so much fun with them, as always!

Quick Update

Georgia Kelley has Chad and I smitten. Chad said he didn't know he could fall so in love with this baby girl and I agree! She is so sweet and I mean sweet!  She sleeps and eats ten times better than Harry did.  We feel like it may be the quiet before the storm and are holding our breath! Here are few pictures of Harry! If you can tell he is still our baby with his paci and Shaggy and as many blankets and animals he can fit in his bed.  We find race cars and horse figures in there too!He is into dress up and I am loving it!  I am enjoying these times and holding on to each moment because, I know it isn't always this precious!

Harry and Georgia Kelley on her First Week

Let's just say that Harry loves Georgia Kelley!  When he wakes up in the morning and from nap his first question is "Where is Georgia Kelley?"  He came home from MDO today and was determined to show her his new monster ring!He asks to hold her but, he only likes holding her from 5 seconds and he doesn'tn want to hold her any more.He is willing to share anything with her right now! He grabs her blankets and pacis all the time!  He also is very good at getting mommy water when she is feeding Georgia Kelley.  He likes to show everyone her room and his when they come over. One of our favorite stories so far is when we told him we were going to give Georgia Kelley a bath.  He was beyond excited and went to both bathrooms and got all his toys for the bath.  This may not sound huge to some but, he puts all his little choking hazard animals, all 100 of them and then all the rest of his bath toys that are exhausting to clean up and he threw them in the tub!  He was so happy to share his toys with her.
He was disappointed when we didn't turn the water on and lay her in it.  He did help wash her back.  He dosn't understand the whole sponge bath thing.  It is so fun watching him with her!  I am sure this will be interesting roller coaster of love and hate between the two!

Georgia Kelley Day 4

Harry wants to know all about Miss Georgia Kelley!  As soon as he wakes up from naps and in the morning he wants to know her status!  He is really into her!  Let's hope it stays that way!
Harry wants to pick her up!I added a little bit of Georgia Kelley's weight information on the last post!
