Bed Time Rituals...well...kind of

Yes folks, this is true, my son would rather have a sippy cup he can hold than a bottle. I may sound selfish but, I did not want him to stray from the bottle. Drinking milk before bed is a random bed time ritual. Nothing is scheduled or organized in the Warehouse these days!
I love this picture of Uncle Paul putting Harry to sleep. It isn't easy and Paul had the magical touch that night!

I am not fabricating the truth when I tell you Harry, besides the pacifer, loves music more than anything in his little world. He loves my dreadful singing and he loves Chad's guitar playing. He will calm down at the hint of one of us singing or Chad playing. He will fully fall asleep with Daddy's songs! This scene above has become a bed time ritual. I think he may take after his Aunt Hannah with her muscial talent, we sure hope so.
He loves to be read to, this is Auntie Em reading People's Style Watch. This is not the normal literature he gets read to but, whatever works!
When he is finally asleep where ever that may be, never the bed. He instantly rolls over and moves, we don't know how he doesn't wake up with all of the rolling he does at night. He also likes to sleep with a blankie, this is one of my favorite ones that Uncle Scott and Aunt Amy gave Harry for Christmas. The pjs are from Kim and Adam, I think they are special because they have crocs on them...like the ones down their in LA with Adalie, Kim, and Adam!
When he is out, he is out. I shall NEVER EVER say Harry is a good sleeper even if he sleeps through the night 2 weeks in a row! He is actually getting much better, he only woke up once the last 2 nights and even slept in until 7:45 this morning. It may because he had a wild night with Mimi and her friend Shelia. They babysat so that Chad and I could go to the Diamond Hog's game!
Quick request: If you have any ideas for helping a baby when they are teething...please email me!

Pictures Tell a Story

Daddy went to St. Louis with a group of his college buddies to have a "guys golfing weekend"!
Mommy and Harry tagged along with Mimi and Papa (Chad's parents) to see Memaw in El Dorado! Memaw has not seen Harry since he was 2 weeks old! Harry either played or slept the entire trip! He is a "traveling man"!

Harry and Memaw played with balls. Mimi played patty cake with her.
Mimi gave Harry a bath.
When Harry didn't want to get out of his stroller in the hot sun, Mimi walked him around the living room.

Mimi let Harry wad up her morning paper.
And as you can see, Harry had his way with Papa!

The Ware tradition is to get pictures made after church on Memaw's green swing.

Harry was the star!

We had to show pictures of Harry's new trick he mastered at Memaw's house! He can sit up!

Fun with our Son

My Uncle Mark and Aunt Krista hosted the fun family day today! Last year I was prego and Chad was out of town so, I didn't get any good pics and this year was much more fun. Every time I am with my family I constantly count my blessings. I have such a wonderful family who adores Harry and my husband. Since I have had Harry I appreciate them so much more! Since my dad is the oldest of 5 boys the younger aunts are not too much older than me. I know I can call any of them about mommyhood and get great advice. They are all such good moms! The uncles are all so much fun. The kids made most of the desserts except for "Bretta's Brownies" that Krista made...yummy!

They had homeade pizza as well!
Chad met all the men for a round of golf this morning. He had a great time.

Harry had a blast too, he was so tired at the end. He received many hugs and gagas by family!
Uncle Mike's and Aunt Lisa's poor puppy that Harry thought looked very tastey!
Cousin Ashley is having twins! Whoo Hoo!

Harry LOVED LOVED LOVED the blow up slide!
That is Harry laughing! Dezi wanted to slide with Harry too!Notice the big scary dragon looking thing in the back. I thought I would take Olivia in it, it was scary and she was not a fan. The older kids liked it though!

We had so much fun, we talked about how much fun we had the whole way home. I tried talking Chad into moving there from their house to Fayettville. I love being close to my family but, I wouldn't mind being a little bit closer! Emily is here for the week to babysit Harry for us. I am sure he will get to spend lots of time at the new mall!
