Harry's Favorite Things at 6 Months

After Harry's good friend's Keaton and Elliot's Mom gave him a Mum Mum it has been history ever since. These things disolve quickly and are not that messy. Way to go Melissa....great find!
Can I tell you this is our family's favorite new video! I had heard about them but, Kim P
encouraged me to buy them! This is the same concept as Baby Einstien, but, with Christian music and the pictures are just precious! My parent's took it with them with they were with Harry and they ended up buying the whole set as well! We play it in our house even if we are not watching it!
Charlie's mom gave him these super cool rubber ducky's that blink in the water! He can put part of them in his mouth and loves fishing for them. She said she got them in a little box above the candy bars at the grocery story. Great find Marshawn!

Bottoms Up

"Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed" 1 Corinthians 15:51

This pretty much sums up diaper changes, needless to say, I change diapers upside down!

I got the verse idea from www.pumpkindoodle .com

Little Bit of This and Little Bit of That

Our summer has started off with a BAM! Harry went for his 6 month well check up on Thursday morning. He is in the 95th percentile in height at 28 inches and 85th percentile in weight at 19 and 1/2 lbs. He did better than ever with his shots. Here is what Harry has been up too in the last few days!

Helping Mommy with one of her summer projects. He is a great help organizing pictures! Actually, he was laying in the middle of the living room, I walked out for a second and came back to find him trying to help!

Hangin' out at the neigborhood pool. He loves floating in his pool cruiser. He spends half the time floating and looking and the other half of the time chewing on it.

Tonight, Chad and I went out on a date while the church offered a free babysitting service. We put him in bed right when we got home. About 30 minutes later we heard rustling in his room, we walked in to get this shot!

Now and Later

Our baby is 6 months old!

One of Mimi's best friends who helped babysit him , described Harry as a baby who wakes up looks around as if to say "Hel-lo World, whacha got for me today?" I love that description. He awakens each morning so happy and eager to see what is going to happen next.
May he not only be eager for what the day may bring but, awaken with this thought:
"Hello world, What can I do for you?"

Harry's a natural smiler. He even smiles at people who are not even looking at him, But, he will keep smiling and looking at them until they make eye contact andsmile back, then he releases.s. He has a smile for everyone. Don't get me wrong, he has his favorites but, typically he smiles at anyone: the good, the bad, the ugly. May he always give everyone a chance, and give every person a smile. May be never descriminate and but love all, great and small.

Now, I'm thinking Harry is gonna be the outdoorsy type He is totally in awe of God's creation.
May he always appreciate God's beautiful earth. I hope he never takes God's power for granted but always appreciates this third rock from the sun.

Harry's an adventurer. He wants to be on-the-go, and likes to experience new stuff.
May he always be ready and depend on God for what life will throw him. May he always seek new adventures and opportunities to experience God's world.

Harry respects "nice" toys but, really he loves napkins and wrappers.
May Harry always appreciate and enjoy anything he is given.
I hope he will always be contented with whatever he is given and not get the constant urge to want more and better. Guess I need to work on that one.

Harry is very physical kinda guy. But he isn't the most patient 6 month old! He gets very frustrated if it takes him too long to scoot to a certain toy or object or napkin. He doesn't stop trying to learn how to master new milestone. He is determined!.
May he always do his best in anything he chooses. My hope is never gives up and can always look back and say "I did my best."

Harry thinks his Mommy is soooo funny! This is a sign of his brilliance!

May he always think his Mommy is the funniest person in the world!

Poopy diapers aint funny. Harry does not like to be in a poopy diaper very long!
May he always strive to keep clean and not be content being stinky and dirty!
