More Happenings!

With only nine weeks of summer, we are taking full advantage of what it has to offer! First stop: Crystal Bridges! I mean seriously they went over the top with their preschool day! They do this once a month and it was amazing!  The theme was "horses" and they had a cowboy singing, cowboy story time, horse puppet crafts, kid horse rodeo and my favorite..kid tours! The kids were hilarious! Harry asked why there were so many people without clothes! Georgia Kelley kept saying she saw Jesus!  It was really cool how they teach kids how to look at art and act in a museum! They kids loved it!  Oh and you can't beat a picnic on the grounds!  We enjoyed our little friends Ava and Eli who joined us!

We had a playdate at the park and it got too hot! We moved it to the splash park!
The week before our pool opened, we went to the splash park almost every day! Note this is the last picture with Tutu! It is really really sad! He has been lost forever!
Harry graduated preschool! I laugh because many months ago I tried to get him to wear a bowtie and he threw it in Georgia Kelley's room!  He has realized they are for boys!
He was a mess! He ran with speed across the stage right into his grand's arms!

We had four graduation parties to attend on a weekend that Chad was with friends fishing.  I am crazy about these sweet grads! Two are going to HU, one to Baylor and the handsome man in the bottom left....Pepperdine! JEALOUS!
My sweet friend Amy is always so good to my Harry! I love how she goes out of her way to make him feel special! He and her son Maddox play well together and Harry LOVES him!  Harry spent an entire day at their new house breaking it in!

I was able to go home with the kids to attend my sister's wedding shower!  I am going ot have to do a big post on all the wedding festivities! It has been really fun!  I love Caroline's leg on my dad during church on Sunday!
I kidnapped Caroline for the week!  She is the funniest child I know! She is also the most loving! She has a sixth sense into other people's feelings! She jumps in and helps any time there is a need! She amazes me!  I loved every single minute! She was homesick but we had a blast with all the good times to be had in this little town!
We loved having our other cousins come visit from Greenwood!  The kids enjoyed all the fun stuff on our square!  We could get use to all this family time!
I promised a trip to the zoo and Gentry came through!   I believe it is the BEST zoo in our area! Yes, better than Tulsa!

The rest of the week was full of treats, water games and lots of donuts and snowcones!
The carwash was their favorite part!

Gabby is our little friends who is always fun to hang out with!
Caroline wrote me a note..I almost cried!  Caroline doesn't say things she doesn't mean....it was a great compliment!
 Blueberry pickin' was way eventful!
Pool opened and we were one of the firsts there! Ice cold!  We take full advantage of our neighborhood pool each summer! GK and Harry are major water bugs! I didn't dream I would put GK in swim lessons at two but she may need them!
Saturday of the holiday weekend we got invited to my friend Tam's house! The kids swam and they grilled! We stayed way to long and enjoyed the company!
Sunday was a cookout with some of our favorites!

Chad took Harry to float the river on Monday morning and GK and I did girl stuff!

Since she lost Tutu we tried to replace him at Build a Bear! She was immersed in the process!  She is so over Suzy! She picked out a dog and put a pig sound in her! Named her Suzy and loved her for about an hour!

Monday night we grilled out and went to visit our Faubus friends!  We love this family and do not see them enough!  I wish I had taken more pictures! GK was obsessed with their kitten!
The kids spent six hours at the pool on Tuesday and Harry did not get enough sunblock(super mom)!  So sad! Wednesday Harry got to spend a half day as a kindergartener! He was very timid and nervous at first but it he jumped right in!  It was a very pleasant experience!  I am so glad we picked the school we did! They do amazing things! Harry was treated very special by the staff!
Harry has been asking for Maddox to spend the night and this was as good as any! I love boys! I just love them! I love have they create battle fields with a slip n slide, swing set and a trampoline! I love how they find ways to do tricks with basic household items! I love how they think corndogs are a delicacy! I just love them!  It has been a lot of fun! They went to bed super early.
 How fun is this?
