Growing up my mom had elves on our tree that "watched" us! They didn't fly to the North Pole like the "new generation" of elves! I said I wouldn't do this new tradition but, I have fallen in love with the elf! We have so many traditions, I thought this one would be overwhelming but it is so much fun! Harry had heard about it at school anyway, couldn't be the only kid in the world with out an elf! He flew to our door and rang the bell while Brook and Mimi were there! Brook was able to tell us the rules while we attempted to read his book! Harry was freaking out! He kept saying "I can't believe it!" We named him Kicker but, Harry changed it to Tucker! So he goes by both!
The first morning we found him playing Go Fish with some of Harry's other toys! He was making friends!Georgia Kelley LOVES him! She waves and talks to him daily! Kicker even gets prayed for!
My sweet neighbor Ashley came over to help set up for Thursday morning! We made elf donuts with cheerios and icing!
Harry was loving the green milk Kicker made!
Friday morning Harry found Kicker playing on my computer! We turned it on to See he had elfed us!
Chad and I had a weekend away and my parents hosted Kicker! My kids were both crying because Kicker disappeared while we were packing! When they got in the car Kicker was on our rear view mirror! He wanted to go to Bobo and Coco's too! This is good: Harry woke up at Coco's house to see that Kicker hadn't moved! He told Coco that maybe he was lost but Coco said," Oh no Harry, I found my laundry room all messed up and I though you moved Kicker there so I moved it back....go look." Sure enough Coco's laundry room was a mess! Great job mom! She is quicker on her toes! Sunday morning Kicker was with his "girlfriend" from Greece! You know elves date internationally! Oh Coco is clever and my kids loved their weekend with Bobo, Coco, and Kicker!
We love Kicker and the ideas are endless with the mischief he will be getting into!
