Another Dean Visit+the Graduate

This is our second weekend going to my parent's house! We will be in C-town for the next 2 weekends as well! This weekend was special because my brother, Paul graduated college. He plans on being a coach! He will be a good one, Harry hopes he will get the chance to get private lessons from Uncle Paul!

Friday was exciting because Harry got to play with his 2 cousins and my grandmother! Harry absolutely loved her! He laughed with her as soon as he saw her that night, the next morning and not to mention during graduation! She sang the classic song "I'm wild about Harry and Harry's just wild about me"! It is from the 1960s!

Olivia is a hoot these days! She can say "Hawwey"! She also loves to dance with her little sister, Caroline!Granddaddy taught Harry how to play with a new toy! No Popsicles this time either! Instead, from the advice of Aunt Tesa we mixed the cereal and beans...yum yum!

My 2 adorable nieces! Love love love them. They are both so cuddly!

It is no surprise that my niece Caroline thinks I am so funny! I am all of my nieces favorite aunt, they can't quit smiling at me!
Olivia is trying to steal kisses, Olivia gives great kisses, but you have to be a baby to get them!

My Honey....Grandmother!
Here is the crew after graduation, my mom is not smiling because she was too busy talking to the people taking the picture. 4 generations
His whiteys are showing again.....so embarrassing!

Captain of this Ship

Harry as got to spend a lot of time with his Dad in the last few weeks. Tax season is over, so Chad took a few days to watch him! Needless to say, I was jealous! Chad is the photographer in the family, so we have some good shots of our almost 5 month old baby!
Harry loves to be thrown in the air! He loves any kind of activity, he is no doubt a very active baby! He wants to be moving most of the time!

He also loves to look in the mirror, he gets a huge kick out himself! He laughs and laughs, he also is excited about his bath! Which, by the way, is hilarious because he will turn over and get his face wet and doesn't mind, he squirms and wants to splash! Bath time, as always, is a fun time at the Warehouse!

Harry was introduced to green beans this week. I am not kidding, this baby can eat! He will eat a whole bowl of cereal and a whole bottle at each feeding if we let him! We agreed with the doctor that he is ready for new foods! We gave it to him after he started reaching for our BLTs(wrapper in the background). I felt so sorry for the little guy! He obviously loved them and reached for the empty container afterwards!

Keep Rollin" Rollin" Rollin" Keep Rollin" Rollin'

Well folks, Harry has turned into a rolling machine! I am eager to get a video of him rolling back and forth. We have joked about it because, my Dad(former coach), my brother(coach), and Chad were all trying to get Harry to roll over Saturday! Granddaddy had given him some of his popsicle and they were enticing him with it! He just wouldn't go all the way! He has rolled over but not consistently until today! I was playing with him on the floor and he just started rolling over to his stomach and then back to his back! He did it over and over!
He also started sucking his toes today! I guess he wanted to impress Adalie when he visits her in a few weeks!

The video is not that interesting, we just thought it was humorous to watch him get really excited when the mobile was moving and would slow down when it stopped.

Harry is also excited about his twin cousins coming near his birthday. He is hoping they are boys because he feels way out numbered by girl cousins! I will wait to give the name!

He also told me to tell Rachel to update her blog, it has been way to long! She has news that Harry is so excited about and she needs to show pictures of the baby!

Don't throw away your napkin!

You can often find Harry with that finger in his mouth!
Yummy...napkin!
Harry loves playing with things that make noise, he likes napkins and wrappers more than his toys! I am sure that will change but, it is so funny to watch him stay so focused on something as simple as a napkin!

Harry also loves to chew on fingers! The pointer finger is his favorite, although he will take your pinky if you are willing to give it up!

I love the way Harry is looking at the camera in this picture, it is as if he is saying, "That Mommy is so embarrassing!"

Oh Baby Your Never Fully Dressed Without a......

The last post was so stupid, I do like sweets...a lot more than I realized! Oh well, back to Harry:

I don't mean to boast but, I have to brag on Harry! I knew no one would believe me except immediate family but, every time I go into the doctor's office with Harry they dote over him excessively. Of course it makes me love them even more, they constantly tell me how good and cute Harry is......they see tons of babies every day, so it must be true to other people besides his fan club(family)! I am sure they tell every mom that, but I like to think he is one of the only ones!! I don't usually tell others because I am known to exaggerate stories and I don't want people thinking I am lying about my son's cuteness! Okay, I am making my point....so Chad took Harry to get his 4 month shots Thursday morning and they said and Chad quotes "Harry is one of our favorite babies!"!! I can brag now, I am not exaggerating...Chad said it...it is truth! Okay brag session over, I have to document that kind of stuff.....right???? Chad said he smiled constantly...until he got the shots of course and has been a little different ever since. I think he is getting back to his old self though, he had a ball at the Reynolds house last night!

Harry weighed in at 16.8 lbs which puts him in the 75th percentile in weight for boys his age.

He is in the 90th percentile in height putting him at 26 inches.
I have to note, Harry has been so good adjusting to staying with different friends and family. He hasn't skipped a beat!
He does some pretty neat things like, he will stare at someone until they look at him and when they smile he immediately smiles, like he was waiting for them to smile first! He absolutely loves faces! He loves his exersaucer, if he is not in it, he is staring at it! He has started eating his books, instead of looking at them.
He gets really excited when Chad plays with him, he loves being thrown in the air, we need to video it soon. I feel like I write the same things over and over about him, but to me he is constantly changing. I have said every age is my favorite so far but, this one really is! He is so happy all the time, of course he gets a little fussy but, it is super easy to get him out of it. He loves to be talked to and of course he loves to be serenaded by his parent's "Harry Songs"!!! When people ask me about Harry I describe him as just a cool baby!
This last picture is one of my favorites because it is so Harry. He looks like this all the time, looking around and check every place out.

Harry loves his daddy!

Harry is growing so fast. He is so much more interactive. Most of the pictures we take are after his bath, that is why he usual has his pjs on or his birthday suit.

He found his feet this week!

He also rolled over for the first time on Monday.

Peace Love and Harryness

Everyone tells you but, you have to experience it to realize how fast time flies when you have a baby! I am more appreciative of this blogspot more than ever, I would never have documented his growth if I didn't have it to share with others. Harry has been such a blessing to our family. I can't imagine life without him, the love we have for him is indescribable. This may sound so cliche but, he is a true bundle of joy. I am mesmerized by him daily. Chad and I spend more time cooing at him than he does us. Chad has been the best husband, God gave me a "bonus blessing" when he introduced me to Chad. He is an amazing Dad, it comes so natural for him. We feel like we are completely different people than we were 4 months ago. I look at my students completely different than I did before, treating them like I would want Harry to be treated has made me show them more love then I did before and my annoyance at some of the small things they do out of impulse doesn't bother me as much. God has been teaching me so many lesson since I have gone back to work. Juggling being a wife, mother, teacher, friend and keeping up with a house is not easy. I want to be the best that I can at all of them, and it seem so hard. I keep it together knowing that God calls us to do everything we do in His name. Surely, God would not tell me to do something that is impossible. Either way, it makes me feel better knowing I have the Higher Power on my side even though it is one hard lesson to learn. Depending on God will probably be a life long lesson for this stubborn girl.
Harry at 4 Months
He is the happiest go lucky baby!
He loves other peoples faces and smiles.
He is learning to roll over and loves the challenge.
He started eating rice cereal a few days ago. This decision was made because my milk supply was not keeping up with him. He took it like a champ and loved every bite. For the record, bibs do not work, we learned that the first time we fed him. I guess when he is older we will appreciate them but, for now we will just strip him down to his "whiteys"
He is a big talker, he talked some before but nothing like he does now.
He has been taken care of by many loved ones, we feel so blessed we have friends and family to love on him while we are at work.
