Easter Weekend Dean Style

There is something about family that makes life sweet! I have decided that being with family is by far my favorite vacation! Although a good trip to the beach wouldn't hurt! Our weekend started on Saturday when we went to my Grandparent's house to dye eggs! This was an experience!

I let the experienced mom handle the it and just followed along! Harry was all about this! He did not want to leave their house, it was just too much fun!

Harry and dye do not go together well....or they love each other one! Harry would just take the eggs and throw them in the cup of dye, take them out and put them back in the carton! It was a Harry mess!

Does this not look like fun; I actually would have liked to dye my own eggs but, played like I enjoyed watching! Hopefully next year Harry will be a little neater at his designs!

It was a bummer that the big Easter Egg hunt was canceled at grandmother and granddad's house because of weather. We have missed it the last 2 years but, the grandkids did not care at all! We hunted Easter eggs in Bobo and Coco's house! The ones with money were big hits....let me tell you! I remember those days....too much fun! Mom took pics of the hunt and I have not got to see them yet!

We all commented on how well Harry and the girls get along. Those girls can play rough with him and not even flinch...Harry likes this a lot! It gave the mommy and daddy's more time to visit! Chad and I could probably have stayed all night and week....I had to literally pull Chad out of the chair to go home!

Since our plans were cut short with not going to the grands, we "in Dean style" went for Mexican! This family LOVES Mexican food! I think we eat it every time we are together. I have eaten guacamole every night for the last 2 weeks. I made salsa with it today, to change it up for Chad!

It was a very precious and special weekend! Chad and I talked about how much more precious the holidays are with Harry.

Weekends with Grands and Cousins!

To start off our Spring Sing Easter Weekend Harry and I attended the Kojie Mother Daughter Brunch on Saturday morning. The little girl in the picture is one of my mom's kindergarten students who spent the weekend with us! Harry had so much fun meeting some of his new friends! We weren't able to get a picture with his future girlfriend, Nora but he was impressed at what a looker she is!

Jack Vick who is 4 weeks old has the cutest cheeks I have ever seen on an infant!

Max would not give me his million dollar smiles but, Harry received quite a few!

Harry was very happy to get some quality time with his cousin Brooklyn! They found a comfortable spot on Papa's shoulder! Brooklyn is such a happy baby!

Harry and Brooklyn playing and Harry's first wild game kill...haha! We were able to introduce Harry to one of my good friends Barbara Duke! I helped her decorate her house for holiday's when I was in college. She is the queen decorator and she has so much stuff she paid me to organize ornaments and put them on her many Christmas trees!

This is how Spring Sing started with Harry, right before the show and during the beginning he decided he did not want to watch, he ended up falling asleep through the rest of the show! KJK/JGJ WON! We are so excited for them, they totally deserved to win, they blew everyone else out of the water! IT WAS ONE SWEET DAY!

Easter was a CIRCUS as always at the Dean Home but we always have so much fun! Olivia and Caroline are my brother's adorable girls! I think those girl cousins are teaching Harry to talk more, he has been talking up a storm since we got home! Harry wanted to give smiley Caroline a kiss! This is Grandaddy and Glamma holding there sweet grands!

Here is a picture of some of the Dean Team! We are missing a few second cousins but, will get a picture with all of them in May! Harry is so embarrassed his whitey titey's are showing, Glamma said he may need to step up to boxers! Kim gave him the cute outfit he wore on Easter!
