The Festivities Begin

Chad and had one fun weekend! We got invited to two of our friends in Little Rock Christmas parties and it worked out they were the same weekend! Friday we went to a Mad Men inspired party! It was a 1960's good time! It was really fun getting to chat with old Harding friends! We also loved the theme! I borrowed my mom's mink which I get the whole feeling in it! It was luxury! I didn't take it out of my sight! My mom did my hair like Joan from the show! It was good times! I felt like I had an alter ego the whole night as a real character from Mad Men! Chad and I ended up leaving way before the party ended to our hotel.

 Saturday we had a big breakfast, did a little shopping and went to our best friend's, the Fowlers, house! We enjoyed our time visiting with Katie and Brian and getting to meet all their friends that we hear them talk about!  We love them so much, Katie and I are kindred spirits! Always a blessing to be around them!

We picked the kids up from a very fun weekend with my parents! They watched movies, played games, went to Paul's basketball games!  Georgia Kelley got sick and I ended up taking her home! Harry and Chad went on with our day of events...Cruz's birthday party, church preschool Xmas party, and setting up for CDC at church!  One busy day and it is 8:30, Georgia Kelley took a six hour nap and everyone is in bed!  Good times!

Sleepover

We decided about a month ago that we would host a sleepover for a few of Harry's friends!  I thought I could handle two boys and two girls...no more! The main reason is because the girls have been wanting to stay the night and I have told Jake for a year he could!  Lindsey's brother gets to stay the night with us  from time to time and it was her turn! Layla is also a special pal who enjoys her time with us.  These three kids are like family to us! We just love them to pieces!

Everyone got along great and they all enjoyed all the fun activities I had planned!

The pictures are not in the best order but, we had a fab time! I will def do it again!  They were perfect!  Great stories!  They did have a debate on whose dad can fix more things! Harry did not partake in that one! It was great!

The Perfect Party

Mommy Quit Her Day Job! This is how we celebrated! We invited all of our closest friends and had a good ole' pool party!Harry was in the pool from 10-2 and did not slow down! He was in the party zone! I was too and loving having all of our favorite people in place! I am disappointed that we didn't get a picture of everyone there! Mine and Chad's mom were both there and there is no proof! Mr. Kaleb was on the move! It meant so much to me that Kaleb and Katie came all the way from LR! This baby is so good! I really wish they could have stayed a lot longer!

Callie Rose is in the hot pink swim suit! This is my friend's daughter who finally came to visit! We are hoping we will get more play dates with this little guy!

Will lives across the street and Harry thinks he is "THE MAN"! If their garage is open Harry starts yelling "WIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLL!!"

We were very lucky to have some older kids at the party to entertain and help parent's relax some! Five of my former students came and then Shelby and Cameron A. came with their mom. They were like rock stars to the little kids!

Leah(Will's mom" and Baby Asher! I was trying to stir the lemonade in one of my new drink dispensers that Ms. Linda(pic below) gave me! I am so excited about them(silly huh?)! Chad got to come for a couple of hours. He admitted he wished he would have taken off work the whole day! Linda and Trudy are his best friend's moms from hs! I love that we still keep in touch with them! I always enjoy visiting with them. I told Chad that I wish I could hang out with them all the time! They are so fun!

Who would have thought that Monday would be a good day for a party! Almost everyone on the invite list showed up! We were loving it! We were in super good company! I feel so blessed to have friend show have kids that Harry can hang with!

The highlight of the party were his out of town friends coming! Kim, Adalie and James came with Katie and Kaleb! I can not say enough of how excited we were that they came. I am ashamed to say this is the first time we have seen James in person! I am hopeful my schedule has cleared up enough that I can get more time with them!

Overall today was a SUCCESS! It was the perfect day to start off my "new career"!

PayPay

PayPay(AKA Payton) is on of our VIPs! We adore him! He is Harry's best friend since he was 8 months and is the smartest 2 year old I have ever seen in my life! He can do a puzzle without the nobs in 2 minutes flat! GENIOUS! Pay Pay for President! His parents are pretty sweet too.PayPay came to play on Saturday and boy did we have a ball! We can't wait for him to come back!

Paypay had a fun party! We decorated balloons, played pen the tail on the donkey and many more fun things!

Harry woke up this morning wanting Pay Pay again!
