It is my pleasure to formally intruduce you to Sir Shag-Alot, also known as Shaggy. This name derived during a visit with Coco. Prince Harry needs a side kick and Sir Shag-Alot has taken this job in stride. As you can tell in the picture there are 2 different animals in Harry's hands. The lighter one, is the real thing. He is who Harry has grown to love and snuggle on the past few months. I even had his 9 month and 1 year portraits made with Shaggy. The other little guy is the "generic" he is not the exact same but has the same shape and texture. These little blankies are hard to come by, but thanks to Aunt Amy we have a much cleaner Sir Shag-Alot. We did not know how Harry would react to both of them together. Let's take a look and see who gets first place on Harry's attention radar.

Harry and Sleepovers!
While Chad was out of town, Harry and I had a good time decorating the house and "undecorating" the house! We were able to do a lot of lounging around the house with each other. He has started to become super opinionated lately....he grunts for things and prefers being held more than ever. I guess this is just one of those stages they go through. He also does this new pose, he sticks his stomach out like he is going for a backbend....I don't know what makes him do this...but I got pictures! One not so great milestone that we crossed this week was Harry cried when I left for the first time at the church nursery on Wednesday. He was so tired, this was a new thing for me, I couldn't handle it. I blame Chad...Harry and I both missed him!
Some of you may remember when Chad and I went camping with our friends the Fowlers. It was the first time we had ever left Harry over night. The 2nd and 3rd times have happened in the past week. Thursday night I was given tickets to go to Madrigal Feast (our high school does this amazing dinner theater) and Chad was out of town. Mimi took Harry and by the time it was over it did not take much to talk me into just letting him stay the night while she spent a day of bonding with him! It is so important to me to make sure that Harry has bonding time with this grandparents! It is funny how much Harry loves his Mimi, he will sometimes prefer her over me...what a blessing! Aunt Amy took some pictures of one of their excursions.
Friday night our friends the Armstrongs watched Harry while Chad and I went with our friends the Matherly's to a a wonderful dinner and a Marriage Seminar. The most interesting and sad thing we learned was the Arkansas is has THE highest divorce rate in the nation! OK and MS come in a close 2nd. Were surprised to learn that the New England's states have the lowest divorce rate. It is always nice to be reminded to invest in your marriage. Harry, no doubt had a ball getting all the attention from his friends that night. Laurie and Larry have 2 older kinds who are crazy about Harry. They swarm him at church, if I don't see Harry while we are visiting after church, it is sure sign that their kids have him!
Saturday night was Chad's company party in Tulsa. We stayed the night in Tulsa and had a great time! Bobo and Coco took over on the Harry watch this time. Harry once again was given a lot of lovin' and attention with the grands. Needless to say, Chad and I missed Harry so much, we could not get to him fast enough(once we slept in and took our time getting ready)!
I made an attempt to get Harry in the spirit for his first birthday party coming up!

Weekends Are Always To Short
We had a pretty busy weekend! Friday night we made a quick trip to my mom and dad's house! My funny Aunt Karen and her husband the Uncle"Teddy" Dale came along with Grandmother Georgia and Uncle Joe! It was great catching up and spending some quality time with some of my favorite family members! Jo lives in CA so, our time is precious when we are together! Karen and Dale are in TX, we value our time with them as well! We call Dale the family teddy bear because, he babies us girls! He never had a girl, lucky for us; he would spoil me when I was in school! I didn't get any pictures of them on my camera but, there are pictures roaming around on other cameras!
It was no surprise that Bobo would give Harry a new treat! Harry enjoyed his Oreos as much as he enjoyed Bobo's silly faces!
The funniest is thing is how crazy Harry is about Olivia! He followed her everywhere...even up the stairs! She was very sweet to Babe Hawweey! What a little love bug she has become!
The reason we had to cut the visit short is because Chad and I went to see Hairspray! I have been so excited about this show coming to our area! I could hardly stand the wait through dinner! We had amazing seats and I sat their smiling the whole time! I couldn't sleep afterwards because, I was in such a hype! If the opportunity comes for you to see this show, do not let it pass! Even Chad loved it! We have to thank our friends the McMennamys for taking us! They introduce themselves as Harry's Church Grandma and Grandpa! It was very nice of Harry's Mimi and Papa to babysit while we got to go out!
Sunday night was life group at the farm! Harry was in heaven! He loved the fresh air! It was so great for me, he was into everything!
The tractor, he would not stay away from that big ole piece of danger!
