Harry and GaGa not like Lady Gaga

We have started calling Georgia Kelley Ja Ja.  I guess you could call her Lady JaJa!  It started when she was a itty bitty baby and Harry called her Georgie..I think it is soooo cute!  Chad did not like it.  I did not like him calling her GK. I loved Gigi, like the princess in all the Christian Book Stores.  I usually call her Georgia Kelley but, we all agree she needs pet name.
I was telling my grandmother about how Chad and I don't like what we call her and she said that is what PaPa used to call her when she was little.  I knew Chad would love it.  I called her that with Harry in the room and Harry jumped on the Jaja bandwagon!   I bet PaPa prounced it in a deep southern GeoaGa! On another note, she loves to hear her name!  I love hearing it too!  I just love her and him!  Harry's name is his pet/ nick name too!

Randamandas

I love plays on words and I am well aware that I am abusing it on this title post! I don't care!  This is one of those rare posts that I just write about some of things on my mind that I want to share with the people! You, the people have a right to know about:
runpee.com
Hate missing the movie because you have got to potty?  I know when I was pregnant I missed a 1/4th of the movie running to the bathroom!  That is not the problem anymore!  This website tells you what parts to go so you don't miss the important stuff!  There is an app for it too!
Words with Friends
Best app ever!  I am in love!

Sha Be Be!  This woman will make any shirt with whatever I want on it for a whopping $15!  She did the kids Halloween tees and a few other ones that I didn't spotlight. I email her what I want and she makes it. Her personalized hair clips are cute too!  Everything she does is cute! She is based out of Bella Vista/ Bentonville area!

Want to know what I am saving up for? This is my dear friend's work.  She is an amazing artist.  This kind of work would usually cost over a thousand dollars but, she does it for half that!  She said the best time to get an oil painting of your child is before the age of five.  I can't wait to get one of Harry!  Oil paintings are timeless and last forever!  She has just started doing this for the public!   This picture above is one of our close friends, Emma!  It captures her personality so well in it!  Go to her site and see others!

Today I am thankful for my job! I am so sad my class is not meeting tomorrow! I feel very blessed to be teaching and I have fully enjoyed the subject matter.  Although I have my masters in reading, I have learned so much about teaching children how to read!  I was thinking about starting a blog for moms who have preschoolers.  It would be a blog with small tips on how to promote literacy and help them learn concepts of print and words!  Let me know if this is something you would be interesting in having a resource for.  I am having so much fun working with Harry, even if he does play dead when I ask him a question he doesn't know! I enjoy it even if monsters attack us in the middle of a fantastic lesson or activity. The days of our lives...right?

Harry's Favorite Christmas Present

The gift that keeps on giving!  Harry's favorite part of the week!
We love it!  Thank you Bobo and Coco!

"My Wolverine Shirt"

I hear this every single morning when we are getting dressed.  As soon as we get home from anything, Harry starts to strip to put on his very favorite shirt, Wolverine!  Harry's Aunt Hannah got this tee for him and boy did she hit the jackpot!  I have bought five other super hero shirts since then and none of them measure up to Wolverine!Harry's favorite thing to do is laundry now, just so he can wear his Wolverine shirt!  It is ridiculous!  If you know me, I am anti-cartoons on any clothes besides pajamas!  I have made an exception for vintage superheros!  He talks about Wolverine, Superman, Spiderman, and Batman all day long!  After Papa told him that policemen shoot bad guys, he wants to be a policeman!  I have been able to get him to eat almost anything by saying that one of the super heroes eat it!  He loves to make his mean super hero face! We went to the library last week and he was determined to get books with bad guys in them.  All the librarian could find was Incredible Hulk books!  I was so embarrassed to be checking out such poor literature!  Harry has been reading his hulk books to Georgia Kelley and telling her she is the princess that the supers save!  He also is in love with the soap despensers and loopas that some of his grands got him,  only because they are Hulk!  Right now he is wearing pirate pants and the Wolverine shirt! He also does not like jeans...bug!  I think this whole changing clothes things started when he picked up on Chad coming home everyday and changing!  Harry thinks he has to do that too!  I am not giving in just yet to the t-shirts and warm up pants outfits!  Next are pictures of him in his red cap that Chad had when he was a little boy!  He wears it pretty often too!

Georgia Kelley is 3 Months Old

Chad said last night that if we knew our babies would be just like Georgia Kelley, we could be the Duggars!  This baby loves people!  She loves her hands! She loves to slober! And we love her!  We may be a bit obsessed...aren't all moms and dads?
I want to stop time and just soak up this baby time!

Snowed In

The first week of January was beautiful here in NWA! I loved being snowed in!  Luckily, I had all the goods to make my grandmother's candy!  Grandmother calls them Bon Bons but, I don't know if that is real name..they don't taste like Bon Bons to me.  I had never made them before but, I plan making it a holiday tradition.  We eat Grandmother Georgia's candy every Christmas!  Harry enjoyed watching and dipping them into the chocolate!  It made it even more fun that Chad was stuck at home!  They were both excited about playing outside.  We couldn't find Harry's other glove but, we had a pink one!

We have "love" for the Bison!

Since Chad invested so much of his time in college to play for the basketball team, I can't help but have love for the Bison!  Georgia Kelley has love for the Bison!Yes, it is cheesey, but it is also fun! We had a great time visiting with our friends who also have love for the team!    It was even more fun staying with Chad's aunt, Annie!  We always enjoy visiting with her!  Hannah and Tyler came by too!  We went "bananas"!I also got to visit Emily with and her roommate.  Harry has love for Tyler!
It was a great weekend that started off with Harry spending time with Coco and her kindergarten class! I have got to post pictures of him at my mom and dad's schools!

Harryism on Heaven

"Does God live up above the clouds?  Does he get clouds in his eyes?"
In a very upset voice and his shoulders shrugged, "I can't go to Heaven because I don't know how to fly yet!"
"Can I take my backpack to Heaven?"
"Can I sit in God's lap?"  This after sitting in Santa's lap.

Basketball and New Years Eve

Harry went to his first Razorback game a few weeks back with this dad, uncle, and Papa!  The Monster was woken from his beauty sleep and it took him a while to get out of it.  Although Chad did not take pictures he gave me the scoop on how Harry was and apparently Harry LOVED it!  He loved it as much as he does going to his Uncle Paul's basketball games!  That is where we went the Monday after Christmas.  Chad went on back to work and I stayed in Clarksville a little longer.  I love going to basketball games and so does the rest of my family! Here is some of the Dean crew!  Harry would not leave Mark alone!  He is the daddy of the twins Harry is impressed by!Emily came down and spent the whole week with us and we were sad when she left!  We had so much fun shopping and hanging out!  On New Year's Eve we laid low at our close friend's house.  We played games and laughed the whole night.  I told them we would be leaving super early and of course we didn't get home until 1am, just like the rest of the world.  Harry didn't go to bed until one either!!!  He enjoyed playing with Jake, and Emma Grace enjoyed playing with the adults!Georgia Kelley was an angel the whole time too!  I brag on her so much because, we didn't know babies could be this good!  I feel a bit guilty when I tell people she is pefect but, she really is so easy!  We are excited to see what 2010 has in store for our little family!  God has been good to us and we pray we grow closer and closer to Him!
