Snap Shots

This blog is just random pictures that I took when I just happen to carry my camera!  Here we are on a picnic close to the square in Bentonville.  It is just another park they have and my kids LOVE eating outside. It was a cooler day so we siezed it!

We did walk and Harry rode is bike!
I never miss an opportunity to eat Table Mesa's salsa and chips!
I am a big fan of our farmer's market! I also am a big fan of past times from my grandmother's house. I have mentioned before that I ate most of my dinners growing up out the coach's hospitality room or the consession stand. Those were never ever healthy. At grandmother's house she always cooked fresh veggies and veggies only tasted good at her house!  It was a mental thing!  Here is one of her simple meals I made this last week. You must snap the green beans and then cover them with water.  Add potatos and salt and cook all day long!  I just love that taste and the SMELL!

This represents my kids so well!  Harry playing with weapons and Georgia Kelley in the books! Oh and a messy room!
So, I am back on the green smoothie kick! I have been having one a day and in the smoothie I eat more greens than I normally do in a whole week!  Harry likes them too!  We call them Hulk drinks!  Georgia Kelley does not like them yet but loves the Isagenix shakes. Those shakes have a ridiculous amount of nutrience so I figure their even!  An easy recipe for a yummy smoothie is: a cup of spinach and mango with a little bit of ice and water.  It is shockingly delish! Another good one is spinach, pineapple, banana, and mango/blueberries!  Good stuff!
I am so glad the whole family can play Trouble!  Harry is so goofy!

Georgia Kelley's little personality is really blossoming! She loves to take things out and put them somewhere else! She is a big help with laundry! She cleans up anything that is spilled and loves to tell you what to do! We get told to "sit" and "book" quite a bit!  Not to mention "hold me" and "oovie"!

Speaking of pasttimes, I am a big fan of lightening bugs and we live in a spec home without trees so, not lightening bugs! After church one night we hit Braums and then headed to a park to catch them!  It was so much fun! There were not as many as I had hoped.  We caught them like crazy at my grandmother's house last summer and I am sad we can't replicate the experience.

 Found them...now to grab them!
 1st one!

Total of five!  YEAH!  We let them go at our house, we hope they will breed!
So much for a random look at what has been going on during the week the last two weeks!

Guilty Pleasures

I have some guilty pleasures and I am ready for them to go public! As "public" has my blog is considering, I don't have too many readers! HA! I was thinking the other day when I was driving home from work which is at night, I love Delilah! I started listening to her every Sunday night when I was dating Chad. I would drive back from Searcy at the very lastest and I always listened to her! It is kind of funny, I was falling in love and I felt like every one of her songs were about me! Isn't that how love is? Every since then I still have a special place in my heart for her words, anecdotes, and songs! I guess you could say it reminds me of falling for Chad!

I have a major problem! I have tried numerous times to kick my obsession with cookies! I can't stop! I just did a hard core workout and right after put a batch in the oven for a snack while I watch Legally Blond!  I do not ever go to the mall without a purchase at the cookies store! It is so annoying! I am annoyed at this bad habit!
I am willing to bet I have eaten here on an average of once a week for the last year! I can say that because in the last month I have been there like twice a week! It is always my pick for luncheons and date nights!
They may not be guilty but the music is a bit lame, the cookies are all going to my gut, and the restaurant is taking too much of my money! For those things...I feel GUILTY!
There is the update!

Harry and Rainbows

I know I mention it a lot but, Harry LOVES rainbows! He is obsessed with them!  Every thing he colors has all the colors of the rainbow! If you color something he can tell you in a second which color you are missing if you are missing any of them.
He keeps this painting from his cousin, Brooklyn, on his wall.
A day does not go buy when he doesn't mention rainbows on something or for something! It just amazes me how much love he has for such color! I love this obsession and hope it sticks for a while! I would like he love them for the promise they hold from God.  He was at one time obsessed with Noah!  There are so many blogs on here about the rainbows in our life but, I will just leave it with the ones I could take pictures of today!

Boo Boo on Tutu!

In our family, "lovies" are members!  We treat them like royalty and we have that is in need of surgery!  Let's start at the meeting! Harry picked out Tutu in a local boutique that has gone out of business.  He wanted to give it to her! Little did we know she would love it so much!
She didn't really start sticking with it until she was about nine months old.  She loves him so much! I call it "he", Chad calls it "her"!

She would chew on his ears at the beginning.

Cuddle him in all sad and tired moments.
Then Georgia Kelley started just playing with this ears, it seemed to calm her!  Lately she has been taking the ears and rubbing them on her nose.
If you are lucky she will rub his ears on your nose! About two weeks ago an ear fell off:(
Then she woke up yesterday and both ears were off!  It is so sad!  We need a surgeon!
She looked at Chad like he could fix it, so sad!  She still loves Tutu but, we have a back up that is second in line!

If you know our family, you know Shaggy from Harry's day! We lost this little guy in Target in Conway Memorial weekend in 2010.  We are still mourning his life.  We have a Shaggy impostor that seems to keep Harry pretty happy at night!  He told me that he protects him from bad guys at night!  Such an innocent love for "lovies".
