Pumpkin Seeds!

My kids loved the pumpkin seeds we made!  Harry enjoyed digging out the seeds!

Georgia Kelley...not so much! She hated the "slime" inside!
 They loved seasoning them!

This didn't last long but, they enjoyed watching them roast!
Good times!

Weekend Revised

Our weekend was planned to be at Harding's Homecoming but, Chad talked me out of it because none of our friends were going:(! It didn't take long to fill our weekend up with fun plans!  It started Thursday night with our friends at the jr high football game! I had the cutest pictures on my phone with one of Harry's best friends and the excitement on their faces when the boys got to take pics with the quarterback! My friend's son is the one we went to see!  Good times! Afterwards Kathy and I took the boys to eat at Panda Express...Harry LOVED it!  Shockingly!  After that night my phone went to sleep and never woke up! It is sad! An Iphone 4 that has been shattered for over a year but has worked like it was normal! It is super sad!  My upgrade is set for February so, I am borrowing a friend's phone until I can get my hands on the new Iphone!  I am so grateful she let me borrow it for a few months!  So, this sounds really lame but, I am who I am and I love learning about the Bible.  Okay, so that sounds so cheesy but, I don't just like church sermons and Bible class, but, I love going super deep in scripture and synthesizing the OT with the NT! I am learning so much lately from my own study but, I have a friend who is crazy intelligent and has made connections through the Old and New Testament and I am in awe of it! I have always believed the Bible was about Jesus, but really....every single story is about JESUS! Moses and all!  It is so much fun!  My work is falling behind because, I want to learn more of what she is opening my eyes to!  Kathy C and her husband come over for dinner to teach us Leviticus...this is what is so interesting to me!  Kathy and I have been spending a lot of time together! I love going to lunch with her or just swinging by her house! My favorite thing about her is she is available! It is hard to find people who are available to mentor!  I am blessed by her!

It ended up being me and Kathy studying and the guys watching the World Series.  I didn't care as long as Kathy let me ask questions and help me make all the connections that I am seeing but not comprehending!  It was so fun....I know I am dork but, I can tell you even my college friends will vouch for my desire to understand the Bible...I am not trying to be cheesy! I have a long way to go but, Leviticus has sparked a whole new excitement!
My really cheesy center piece! A grain offering....a very modern grain offering! Harry heard us say I didn't have any animals and he grabbed some plastic ones and put them on my alter! HA!
They were here pretty late and then my friend Ashley happened to be up and she came to visit! LOVE and she listened to me tell her some of what I had learned!:)  Saturday morning we slept in and I took GK to Landry's birthday party!
That night we went to the Robinson Avenue CofC Trunk or Treat!  Harry really wanted to be a lifeguard for Halloween and Georgia Kelley is a Copy Cat!  I thought it fit her perfectly and my friend Kim gave her the tutu! Here they are with their super sweet cousins!
Now that I don't have a phone, Chad is taking the pictures and I promise I didn't cut Harry off but, we did my new favorite thing after Trunk or Treat....eating out in booth as a family! I love going out to eat with just my family!  They are calm and we can all focus on each other so well! It isn't the same when we are with other people, when it is just us we are so focused! Not having a dining room, I feel like I can't get my mind off the kitchen when we are eating! I am sure I am making excuses but it is one of my favorite things!  We had Dixie Cafe Saturday night! Good home cooking''!
Sunday was full of church, roast, and naps and then Shoguns where Harry learned to use chopsticks!  I am so sad this picture isn't showing up! SAD!  Hopefully, I can get a new one!
For a weekend that had last minute plans, we had a great time! I love my little family!

We Made the Right Choice

at the Right Choices Corn Maze!  This place is totally worth the drive!  They have it all and the view to make it a bonus!  We had the best time going with our life group after church on Sunday! It was a ball! Pictures were hard to get a lot of  because we were so active in the fun!

They ware suppose to open a Christmas Tree Farm this winter!  Such a great place!
Until next year!

Happy 2nd Birthday Georgia Kelley

Our darling Georgie(as she would say) has turned two and we celebrated last Saturday with a small group of friends and family!  We did a "kitty cookie" theme because those are two of her favorite things! My friend Abby, made her cake and I didn't get a picture because it got smashed a bit, trying to protect it from the flies!  Having a party a pumpkin patch was a WIN!

I think she did the horse ride 8 times!  Hannah was a trooper walking her around! We may see a little horse rider in our future!

 I love little girls!
I think this is the first picture we have taken together since we were ten!  JK!  Glad we finally got one!
Georgia Kelley wanted a photo op!
Georgia Kelley loves animals!  When the other goats would ram into a smaller one, Georgia Kelley would say, "Be NICE!"

Lots of happy times with happy kiddys!

I may love my kids birthday parties more than my kids because I love love love being with close friends and family! I am more relaxed and who doesn't love birthday parties!

I would say her 2nd party was a success and we are very grateful to be able to celebrate Georgia Kelley's birth!
