Birthday Dad Day

My 32nd birthday started off with Harry waking me up and saying "Mom, Happy birthday, you get to do whatever you want and eat all the sugar you want."  He was very matter of fact and I liked it! I feel like I just get happier and happier with age.  I love growing closer to Christ and being my kids mom! It was a great day! I started out with Rick's petifors that Chad has brought home on Friday!  Chad dropped me off at the mall and I got some make up and then we met my sweet folks for lunch in Fayetteville.  It was so sweet of them to drive up for a little lunch!  They are so fun to hang out with!

In honor of Father's Day, I have to repeat what I have probably mentioned the last five years that I have blogged! My dad is AMAZING! He is one of the most supportive people in my life. He is a wonderful example of unconditional love! He still takes care of me when he sees any needs.   He loves my kids and they love him! I treasure my time with this man!

Another big shoutout to Chad on Father's Day! I was asked to speak on a panel last Tuesday to a group of young wives.  One of the questions was "What about marriage has exceeded your expectations?" I said that I would have married Chad if he hated kids because I was so in love with him, I literally got so much more than what I could have asked for! God blessed me with this man who adores, loves and is crazy about our kids. He soaks up every second with his family and puts us before every desire or want he has.  It really is beyond my expectations!  I love this man more than words! He is the best example of what a dad should be!

Another bonus about Chad is he supports my love for sugar on special occassions! He kind of gives me a hard time on "just any day" occasions. I ate a ridiculous amount of sugar this weekend!

We had our little buddies fifth birthday party on Saturday!

A good night of put put!

Kathy surprised me with a little Rick's special treat!  Loved it!

She also gave me this gorgeous piece of art that has a verse we studied the entire spring semester!  It was perfect! I can't wait to get a colorful frame for it!

Sunday we celebrated lunch with my precious "in-laiws" at AQ Chicken(chad's fav)!  Once again my kids went nuts seeing their grands!  It was precious time with precious family!  The kids and I called HArry for lunch on Friday because we were in the area and we loved talking to him! I have a father in law that follows Jesus and you can see it through his eyes! He is pure gentleness and treats me like his own! I am so grateful! Once again, a blessing that I never expected or deserved!

Soaking Sun and other Randoms

We spend a lot of time outside! A typical day for us is a morning trip to the gym, although I can use the kids as an excuse to not go. We hit the pool or splash park in the midmorning, lunch, naps(well Harry doesn't nap), I usually let him watch a movie or play on the Ipad during her nap. I do my study, work, or clean.
We usually go back out after naps or run an errand or two.

When she doesn't get her way, she puts her hands on her mouth and whines!

This is her "I don't know" hands.

 Love that hair!

Dinner then bath time! I am thinking it won't be long before we can't let them bath together! I just happen to catch this photo! It may be inappropriate but, you know it's funny!

Church Preschool Party

A sweet family at our church throws party for all the preschoolers and teachers. Since I am a teacher and Harry is a preschooler we had to go! I say that lightly because, you don't miss this party! It was at Carter Creek and the kids LOVED it!

I know this is obvious, but I love my church family! I know that God's plans change and we may not always be with this congregation forever but, to us they are like family! I love getting together with them!

Harry caught lots of crawldads(spl) and a FISH with this net! He was so proud!  We will be going camping here soon..yes I said it! It makes a difference when you have ot have a key to get on the property..much more safe! Oh and I can be home in 20 minutes..that helps if the weather is bad!

We loved this litte party!  There is a sweet picture of Mr. Steve giving the sweetest devo to the kids on Chad's phone! I can't wait to post it!

Annual Fowler/Ware Float Trip

If you didn't know we have lots of love for this sweet couple! They are some of the most amazing people we know! They inspire us with their selflessness! We feel so blessed to know them well and feel so relaxed when we are with them! We plan a weekend a summer with them and we were able to get back to the river! We love each other! I just love my Katie!

I stole these pics from her blog....I wonder if she editted the pic of me...if not I sure am glad she took it like that! HA!   It was a very relaxing day with people we could be with all the time!  Can't wait for another visit!
