Bed Time Rituals...well...kind of

Yes folks, this is true, my son would rather have a sippy cup he can hold than a bottle. I may sound selfish but, I did not want him to stray from the bottle. Drinking milk before bed is a random bed time ritual. Nothing is scheduled or organized in the Warehouse these days!
I love this picture of Uncle Paul putting Harry to sleep. It isn't easy and Paul had the magical touch that night!

I am not fabricating the truth when I tell you Harry, besides the pacifer, loves music more than anything in his little world. He loves my dreadful singing and he loves Chad's guitar playing. He will calm down at the hint of one of us singing or Chad playing. He will fully fall asleep with Daddy's songs! This scene above has become a bed time ritual. I think he may take after his Aunt Hannah with her muscial talent, we sure hope so.
He loves to be read to, this is Auntie Em reading People's Style Watch. This is not the normal literature he gets read to but, whatever works!
When he is finally asleep where ever that may be, never the bed. He instantly rolls over and moves, we don't know how he doesn't wake up with all of the rolling he does at night. He also likes to sleep with a blankie, this is one of my favorite ones that Uncle Scott and Aunt Amy gave Harry for Christmas. The pjs are from Kim and Adam, I think they are special because they have crocs on them...like the ones down their in LA with Adalie, Kim, and Adam!
When he is out, he is out. I shall NEVER EVER say Harry is a good sleeper even if he sleeps through the night 2 weeks in a row! He is actually getting much better, he only woke up once the last 2 nights and even slept in until 7:45 this morning. It may because he had a wild night with Mimi and her friend Shelia. They babysat so that Chad and I could go to the Diamond Hog's game!
Quick request: If you have any ideas for helping a baby when they are teething...please email me!

Favorite Things....for now

Some of my favorite blogs to read are ones of people how post their favorite things. I am always thinking of things I want to commend and then they change. So for now, I am going to post my favorite things...of the week! Big bags that can go as diaper bags, forget the "diaper bag" and go for a big bag.
We recently got a new mall near by and the Dillards there does not carry Mac. I am one of those people who wants all of my make up the same brand, old fashion: yes, simple: YES. The new mall does have a Sephora that has this brand Smashbox, a lot like Mac. No more long trips to get that one product I can't live without.
This stuff is AMAZING! It may take an hour, or a day, or even a week...but any stain WILL come out.
Love love love brushing my teeth with this stuff, great for a change!

Put these babies in the freezer and you have yourself a yummy, kind of like girl scout thin mints, snack! A quick story about finding this product: My mother in law and I ran to Wal-Mart last weekend in El Dorado to grab some diapers and decided to get some snacks, we walked out with 2 bags full of junk. They were all opened by the time we left the parking lot. This was one of our favorite finds!
My favorite treat these days, I prefer banana. They come 12 to a package for $1.64. You can get sugar free too! The are fun to eat and a very low cal snack.
Antique Mommy got me hooked on this cleaner, I never go without. All of Harry's things are cleaned with this and our entire kitchen gets a spray of this on a daily basis.
Looks gross, sounds gross, but OH so good. I love these burgers. Don't knock em' until you try em'! Only 90 calories in one patty.

"I'm glad you came to bible class,

I'm glad you came to bible class to sing and play and learn!"

I didn't get to post this on the last post but, Harry went to bible class for the very first time in El Dorado! Our home church is a bit overcrowded with babies, I am not complaining. I have enjoyed keeping Harry with me in class. He was getting a bit too loud for Memaw's class so Harry and I decided to stroll over to the nursery. I wasn't going to but, the teacher was so nice I had to put him in the chair. He was loving it! I can not tell you how much pride this teacher(me) had when my son eagerly watched and listened to the teacher! He had his eyes wide and his hands out on the table as if he was saying "This is so fun, what are you going to bring out next???" The little boy beside him is 5 days younger than Harry. The little girl on the far right is his twin. Harry had fun grabbing his ear, that little boy in return spit up on Harry's hand. He loved his new friends and the teacher. I felt so much guilt that I had not let him experience the fun in bible class! It was by far my very favorite part of the trip. I love having all of these first with Harry, it is so much fun being his mom!
