Easter Weekend Dean Style
There is something about family that makes life sweet! I have decided that being with family is by far my favorite vacation! Although a good trip to the beach wouldn't hurt! Our weekend started on Saturday when we went to my Grandparent's house to dye eggs! This was an experience!
I let the experienced mom handle the it and just followed along! Harry was all about this! He did not want to leave their house, it was just too much fun!
Harry and dye do not go together well....or they love each other one! Harry would just take the eggs and throw them in the cup of dye, take them out and put them back in the carton! It was a Harry mess!
Does this not look like fun; I actually would have liked to dye my own eggs but, played like I enjoyed watching! Hopefully next year Harry will be a little neater at his designs!
Here is Harry showing Daddy his dyed hands and belly!
It was a bummer that the big Easter Egg hunt was canceled at grandmother and granddad's house because of weather. We have missed it the last 2 years but, the grandkids did not care at all! We hunted Easter eggs in Bobo and Coco's house! The ones with money were big hits....let me tell you! I remember those days....too much fun! Mom took pics of the hunt and I have not got to see them yet!
We all commented on how well Harry and the girls get along. Those girls can play rough with him and not even flinch...Harry likes this a lot! It gave the mommy and daddy's more time to visit! Chad and I could probably have stayed all night and week....I had to literally pull Chad out of the chair to go home!

A Big Weekend in Little Rock
Harry got the biggest treat this weekend and it started with Brody, the Fowler's dog, traveling with us to Little Rock. This is not a great picture but, Harry did not take his eyes off of him the entire trip!
We stayed with the Fowlers and had such a great visit, as always! Harry helped Brian make the best waffles ever!
Harry talks about Kaleb constantly and he was giving him a little too much love here!
We were able to visit Chad's best buds from college! Harry showed off for them the whole time and had to be the center of attention! This was a much needed visit! I was excited to meet Darren's fiance Jamie! She was a doll and I knew she would be!
This is the main reason we went to Little Rock! Three of my students won awards in a Library of Congress writing contest! I was so proud and I loved being there to celebrate with them! I am going to really miss this age next year!
Another highlight was visiting the Vanhooks! Rachel and I have stayed in touch for almost ten years and we catch up right where we left off! It was late so I didn't get to visit with her as much as I would have liked! Finley is probably the funniest 2 year old I have ever met! I laughed the entire time and Harry and her!
We did miss out on seeing Kia and her fiance but, my lost phone made it too hard to communicate...bug! I was spoiled because, Rachel gave me some of the cutest door hangings and Katie hooked me up with more maternity clothes! Chad and I had such a great time with our Little Rock friends; I hope we get to have another visit soon!

Double Grand
Last weekend Harry and I decided to go with Dad to grandmother's house. Since Chad is busy with work Harry and I traveled to Clarksville. Our first visit was with Grandmother and Granddad Dean! We had a great time visiting with them. Grandmother and I can talk forever!
As you see she is making a quilt; I can't remember ever going to her house when she was in in the middle of a quilt! We will get to play with all of the Dean cousins on Easter!
Saturday morning loaded up dad's car and drove to Searcy, picked up Emi and then we were off to Poughkeepsie! We were very lucky because Caroline and Olivia came with there parents! I can not stress enough how much Harry loves his cousins! It was so easy watching them because, they played so well together...those girls can handle Harry! They played under grandmother's dining room table!
Caroline may be the cutest little thing ever!
They played in hiding spots and shared goldfish with each other. Olivia was great at handling all the fights and any nonsharing that was going on!
They played telephone and asked mommy not to listen in!
They got into chocolate tort when no one was looking! I can't blame them...I did too! Actually, Tessa and I had it for breakfast!
They played with farm animals in the tub!
They cuddled together!
They watched movies together.
They shared Bobo together.
They shared Paul; Harry has this obsession with Uncle Paul!
They wrestled with Bobo together. Although, you can see in these pictures someone always feels left out... Caroline is in the back of Harry's shoe crying for Bobo to pick her up!
Olivia is angry she is not on Bobo's back.
Harry is very upset that he is not getting Bobo to himself!
You can't pay for entertainment like this! It was a great and well needed trip. Of course I ate like it was a holiday! I was not proud at how I inhaled food. Dad gave Emily and I free rains over the ice cream isle at Wal-Mart and I stuffed my face at some favorite hot spots on our way there and back! We sure did miss Chad and Coco...I doubt they miss out on a trip like that again!
Baby News
I think most people who check this blog know and if you haven't noticed the little guy/gal on the side then surprise we are having another baby! This baby is due on October 12th. I have always wanted a fall baby and so we are excited about this one gracing our presence in October. We will know if it(don't you hate calling it...it?) is in May. I have an intuition but, you never ever know how accurate that is. Chad thought Harry was a going to be a girl and I knew he would be a boy. This time Chad and I have the same feeling. We will be open arms with the same love and joy whether it is a boy or girl! I don't know what else to say but, we are just plum excited! We will be saying goodbye to Peace Love and Harryness....what will my blog be called?
