Our Little Monster's Birthday Party

He is BIG, BLOND, TALL, and almost THREE!  Yes, almost, his birthday is not for another week but, with the holidays this was the only weekend we had to have his party!  I have to say it was a monster of a party!"Mommy Monster" was pretty annoyed at her little monster and his attitude!   He had been to a party there the day before and was happy the whole time, but he had a bit of an attitude at his own.  I apologize for any hurt feelings. This place is so much fun for kids and I had fun too! I enjoyed watching the kids enjoying themselves!Ms. Mallory!Georgia Kelley was in good "hands"!  The only way she wouldn't cry!  Her shirt says "My brother is a monster" but probably should say something like "Monsters make me cry!"The "monster in laws"!Oh...Georgia Kelley!Harry in his monster towel, too funny and too appropriate!  He was going around scarying us in it!

Harry's Monster Mash!  It was a putty/slime!  We think it is fun!  Harry was so proud to have all his buddies at his party!  It was a monster ball!

Harryisms About Georgia Kelley

Me to GK: " Hey sweetheart"
Harry to me: "She is not your sweetheart, she is my sweetheart."

Harry to me: "Georgia Kelley wants a baby doll house from Santa; she also wants a race track."

Harry talking to himself: "I keep bad guys away from Georgia Kelley, I don't like bad guys."

Harry to me:  "Mommy!  Georgia Kelley is laughing!
Me: What is she laughing at? You?
Harry:  "No, she is laughing at the sky, the ceiling, the fan.
She is being a big girl because she is not crying!"  He says this in a very excited voice!
Me: "You should tell her you are proud of her for being a big girl."
Harry: "No, she can't talk to me."  He said that in a tone like I should know that.

Chad to Georgia Kelley: "Hey you precious girl."
Harry to Georgia Kelley :  "Hey you precious girl."  In the exact same high pitched tone!

Harry to me: 'Mommy, I like bears."
Me: "I like Panda Bears; and I bet Georgia Kelley likes bears too."
Harry: "No she is scared of bears; bears are scary; she likes baby ducks."

Doctor Visit One Month Checkup

Here she is waiting for the doctor.
Georgia Kelley had a few good days before her appointment, so I did not ask the doctor about her crying problem.  There are good days and bad days!  We love her all the same, amazing how that works!  She is starting to smile a lot more and her daddy has the magic touch.  If she is crying, the only person that has her calm is Chad...no exaggeration!  She reminds me a lot of Harry.  The way she looks, her expressions, and the way she kicks all the time.  She, like Harry, loves her changing table, bouncer, and being swaddled.
Here she is again, waiting for the doctor!
Yes, I took her late, a week and a half late.  The percentiles are not accurate but, we are pretty happy with her growth.  She weighed 10 lbs and was 22 and 3/4 inches.  That put her in the 75th percentile for weight and 90th for height.  Of course, Harry was bigger but, we may have another tall kid!
We are having a clothes delimia.  She is inbetween and not many things fit her. Chad is super picky about what she wears, much more than he was with Harry!  He likes sweet, not fun and funky.  I like it all...well...!I will be out and about finding some "sweet" clothes for her tomorrow.  I am so sad Monday's Child closed....as soon as I get pregnant and before I realize I am having a girl...bug!   Good thing we have the internet!

Miss Georgia Kelley 6 Weeks

We have had 2 good days!   The backdrop is not the cutest but, I was afraid to move her!  Here is Harry at this age.

Thanksgiving 09

The Thankgiving festivities started on Wednesday!  We visited my grandparents on my dad's side!  The whole crew was around too!  Grandmother got to meet her newest great grandbaby.   She has a touch with babies! This is my uncle, Matt!  He looks like my dad's younger twin! People have gotten them mixed up forever! Harry went up to him and said, "Are you Bobo? Can I have a popcicle?"  Dad gives Harry zillions of popcicles when we visit!  Here are a few of his cousins!Granddad got out and played some ball with the boys.  We had a very fun time celebrating my mom's birthday and the fact that she is now a National Board Certified Teacher!  Dad planned a suprise meeting at Market Place in Conway for her.  I knew for about a month and did not tell her, put that one in the books!  We are so proud of her!  Georgia Kelley met Grandmother Georgia!Four Generations! My dad is a devoted P90X user and Harry was very eager to join him in the yoga part.Harry makes guns out of everything.  He "accidently' broke a frame stand and made 2 guns out of it.  Dad showed him how to use them "western style"!Paul showed up with his clan and the party really started for Harry!  I loved watching them play and explore! We got home late Friday night and had pictures with Chad's family on Saturday morning.  I was able to get a few pictures without stealing shots from the photographer.  I will be excited to get some pictures with the Wares!  Harry was cheering when he saw Brooklyn, he didn't want to let her go.The real superstar is Tyler!  Oh, how Harry ADORES Tyler!Harry also adores his grandparents, Papa being one of his heroes too!
