"Let's Hear it for the Boys"

Most of you know I am a girls girl through and through! I would much rather spend my time with a group of girls than boys any day! Of course Chad is a BIG exception! I knew from the day I found out I was pregnant that it was Harry, but I still had a thought of hope that we would have a girl, I have always wanted a little Georgia! I was by no means sad that I was having a boy but hope that the next one will be girl. I have to say God is Good for many reasons! One reason God is so good is because he put 90 kids in my class and out of those 90 kids the boys are so much fun! Last year I really had a heart for my girls and this year those boys have stole it! I tell them all the time how I really hope Harrison turns out like them! They are not the most academic kids in the class nor, the wittiest but, they are respectful, smart, have a great sense of humor and really don't sweat the small stuff. They are boys, not boys trying to be men, or boys trying to impress everyone but 100% pure boys who LOVE their moms and getting dirty. I I know this is kind of cheesy to write about but, I am so thankful that God gave me what I need and a boy is it! I also think He knew I was not ready to share Chad's heart with another girl!
"Let's give the boys a HAAANNDd, Let's hear it for my baby...."

you are too cute! i could just hear you singing along as you typed your blog! funny b/c i have always wanted to be around guys and have guy friends...i guess God always gives you what you NEED, not necessarily what you WANT. (i'm still learning that lesson) ;)

Although I don't pick favorites between my kiddo's, I will say that momma's and their sons have a special bond...much like daddy's and their lil' girls. You're going to have so much fun chasin' after Harrison!

I am right there with ya on getting excited about everything about little boys! Boys and girls both bring so much joy in many of the same ways and some different ways. I hope we both get to experience both!

I love that song!
I'm so glad you have come around to being excited about having a boy! You are going to be such a wonderful mommy and he will love you SO much! I have always pictured you being the mom in the bleachers cheering the loudest for her son. Adalie is excited you are having a boy, too!

yay for boys! the thought of having one warms my heart--and i especially love it for my husband! God is so good to know exactly what we need--even before we even thought about having children! so cool!
