Harrison is destined to be an ESPN junkie! He is already a generational Razorback and Cardinal fan before he is even born. Most people who know me, know that I come from a family of sports fans! I am a coaches daughter, my brother is graduating in May to be a coach, I have 3 uncles who are coaches, my granddad, great granddad, and great great uncle are were all successful baseball players, and my husband played college basketball! I would never put the pressure on any child to be an athlete but common sense would tell you that Harrison will be a lover of sports whether he plays or not! I am writing about this because the year of Harrison's birth 2 big things have and are happening to his favorite teams!
Cardinals won the World Series!
The Arkansas Razorbacks are in contention for a National Championship!
Disclaimer: Harrison's mom is by no means athletic nor does she consider herself a big sports fan, unless one of the teams above are playing in front of her (not on TV)or her love ones are coaching or playing in the game then she puts on her game face!Harrison's future high school was on ESPN this morning as well! They were on for their awesome sports facility and programs! Just another plus on to my theory!

I love the disclaimer-hillarious and appreciated! I hate it when girls act like they know sports if they don't. But you are no sports poser but you do have it in your blood thats for sure! I am sure Harrison will be very talented and I can't wait to cheer for him in whatever he chooses to do!
By the way=what do you mean that you are not athletic? Have you forgotten Kojie C Team? :)!
Very intersting article! the disclailmer, as Kim said, is too funny! Excellent writing, I must say.
I think there is no question he'll be a sports fan! I thought of you and my other Razorback friends yesterday while we were watching GEORGIA BEAT AUBURN(!!!) and heard that the Razorbacks won. I can't wait for Harrison to be here in 5 WEEKS!!!
That is so funny that you said that about B-ville high school. I was actually watching that on Sunday morning. I never watch ESPN and when I do it was about my hometown....crazy! It is a super nice facility. I wish it was there when I went to school. I bet Harrison will be an awesome athlete! Wow only 5 more weeks or less until you get to meet your baby boy!
p.s.-Thomas went to early church so I don't know if you were there to see him.
Omiword...Kojie C Team Softball...we won the year that me, you, Kim and oh gosh...who else was on our team...Haley (Stiles) Kemper,...SO much fun! Ok, slightly off the subject but I saw Kim's comment and had to reminisce! Well, I'm sure Harrison will be very athletic - I know you loved to exercise in college and with that many coaches and athletic men in your family - he'll be awesome at whichever sport he pursues! :)
Lindsey, I had forgotten that we won! How did that happen? I do remember the other team was so mad that they had gotten beat by us of all people!
I forgot we won too! Thanks guys, this was a fun topic to write about!
I'm late posting on this one but, aww I love the Kojie C team memories. Our C football championship team in 99 was about the only time I've ever felt athletic. Bless C team sports for giving us uncoordinated people a chance!
