Got a Sweet Tooth???

I have turned into a picky eater over the last few years but, one thing has stayed the same I very rarely eat desserts if it is not one of the following! I will occasionally try new desserts but, I don't really like them, just not worth the calories. I do however have 2 very important rules for making a dessert hit my favorite list: it must be a speciality of a restaurant or homemade! I have compiled a list of my favorite desserts. If you ever get the chance, all of the following are top of the line!

Grandmother Georgia's German Chocolate Cake

Chad's Memaw's Chocolate Pie

Chad's Mom's Chocolate Cheesecake

My Mom's Fudge

Bald Knob's Bulldog Cafe's Strawberry Shortcake

Market Place Chocolate Peanut butter Mess

American Cookie Factory Chocolate Chip Cookies with M&Ms (all of my shopping buddies will vouch for that) + a double doozie on special occasions!

Brandie Reynold's Sugar Cookies

Hershey's Dark Chocolate

Annie's crescent, Nutela, and icing pastry

My very favorite, sure to turn a bad day into a great one; a gift that has been stapled to my hips ever since we met....Rick's Bakery Petifors! This is what the picture above! After having a not so wonderful day, my thoughtful husband who works near Rick's brought me an assortment of their undeniably wonderful goods. So, after a day of disciplined healthy dieting I devoured the 3 chocolate petifors(one was eaten before the camera) and one of the sugar cookies already.....he got home 2 hours ago!

I am turning on my comments because I want to know, what is your favorite dessert and who makes it the best????

Funny you should blog about this today, because I totally splurged on desserts today, too. I usually am very picky about desserts, and I don't like things too sweet, but this afternoon I ate a huge piece of the leftover birthday cake my mom made me and then ate a cookie after dinner!

My fav's are
~creme brulee
~cowboy cookies
~dark chocolate (w/ or w/o nuts)
~ice cream

The rest I could do without for the rest of my life and not even care. Just give me a small piece of dark chocolate at night and I'm good. I do REALLY miss splitting a peanut butter chocolate mess with you and Kim, though!!

I will have to add cowboy cookies, although I took your idea and froze the dough and am not kind of sick of them! Ice cream is a good one too! I may be adding to my list soon!

Please call Chad and tell him that I also enjoy Rick's petit fors. So far I'm having a good day but you never know what might happen!! I have to say that I'm obsessed with desserts and would rather eat something sweet then have a meal...however, that has changed since the pregnancy thing. But, my favorites are/were:
-ice cream
-Rick's Bakery ANYTHING
-Chocolate anything!!!
I know the list is way longer than this I just can't think right now. But seriously, call Chad! I can't wait much longer after staring at that box!!!

Oh my gosh, I'm so with you on Ricks. I will gladly eat anything they make, sweet or not sweet. I love desserts, so it's hard to pick favorites. Seriously, it can be chocolatey or fruity, doesn't matter to me. And ice cream is so yummy. I'm usually a girl that goes for lots of stuff in her ice cream, but lately I'm really hooked on Yarnell's homemade vanilla.

-TCBY's yogurt (white choc.mouse or pb)
-blackberry cobbler

Wow - you ladies like some sweets, eh?! I honestly have to say that I am not a huge sweets eater - now,...foccacia bread from Macaroni Grill, pizza or tortilla chips and salsa - I could blog about that all day... Sorry! I will say that your cookie pic looks delicious and I LOVE it that you put Bald Knob milk shakes - I had completely forgotten how good that place was!!!
