Harryisms

Harry is a character...like most kids but, he is our little spastic, all boy HARRY and he cracks us up!  I have to catch up on Harryisms so here goes! Harry is always a superhero...sometimes a bad guy but always in superhero mode! You can hear him say "Here I go to save the day" multiple times a day! He also loves to save princesses from dragons.  I was asking him what he was doing the other day and he said in a very no big deal voice, "just eating grapes and killing dragons". He also told his Gran that girls were clothes that are pretty and boys wear clothes that are comfortable. When I bought him clothes from shopping in Destin he only liked the ones with sharks and looked sporty, when I asked him about the dressy ones he said, "those for for taking pictures". He regularly wears his cape and a cowboy hat to Wal-Mart. He is not happy all the time, but more of an "on a mission" kind of kid. He gets sick of taking pictures and would rather me be playing with him than taking them.
He doesn't say thinks are short or full he says they are are "up up up". So he likes to wear "up up up" pants that do not have snaps or zippers. He also only likes t-shirts. If he has to wear clothes with buttons he reminds me that when he gets home he can take them off.  He is very spastic. One minute he will be chilling and then next loud and jumping around...picture below is a spas moment. He is swimming...yes, he can swim with his head in the water and using his arms and legs without any floatation device. He learned last week at swim lessons. I was shocked.  He has learned all the books of the NT and is pretty good at memorizing scripture for prizes at bible class. Today he was pooping(gross I know) and he said, "Mommy, I don't like pooping, I would rather be playing." I guess that sums him up! I have not been harping very much on his need to learn the letters but, we are doing a lot of research on things he loves and he can tell you a lot about animals (especially sharks and dinosaurs).
He has an imaginary cape when he isn't wearing his and he will tell you all of his favorite things that are on it:
guns, superheroes, cowboys, horses, puppy dogs, Shaggy, goggles, cars, Lightening McQueen, worms, buckets, dragons, Popsicles, books, all the sports balls....you can imagine, ice cream, silly bands, swords, dinosaurs, motorcycles, flip flops, monsters, David and Goliath, Star Wars, astronauts, space ships, rockets, airplanes, firemen, and the list goes on..
We love our little Harry and we try so hard to savor every moment with him...intense or not!

He is so funny! I love the whole superhero thing. That is every mama's dream for their little boy to be a BOY! I hope I have a little boy with as much personality someday.

We love Harry! Add screwdriver to the cape list. I still smile thinking about him telling Tyler he was going to bam him with a screwdriver. Love that imagination!
