Neighborly Cookie Exchange

The story starts that we have lived in this house for almost six years! I loved living here the first two years but, the plan was for us to sell our house at two years! Obviously, I don't have control over how quickly my house sells because it was for sale for three plus years.  A lot had to do with our neighborhood was over built, not to mention our town!  I will say, I am not miserable here, I like being in my home and I LOVE the closeness to certain things. I DO NOT LOVE how far it is to get to the interstate..Chad works a ways away....not fun for him either.  We finally took it off the market for a little while. In that little while God has put some amazing neighbors in my life and we have built some great relationships.  Now, remember this is a new neighborhood when we moved here and I loved my neighbors before...but they ALL moved! I feel extremely blessed to have some great girls living around me..even if they do move before I do! Hopefully they aren't going anywhere. I decided since I knew most of the girls around me and they didn't know each other, I would host a little cookie exchange. My neighbor Melanie requested one and of course I ran with it.  It was a sweet hit! They all stay home and have kids. Well, Mel and Kat do not have kids, but they kind of count as kids because, the kids LOVE them!
Avery is our little friend across the street! Love her mom!  She has a great post about this good ole fashion exchanged.
We used the tripod to take timed pics! It took ten at a time....we started getting goofy!

Noah and Lincoln came too! We love those two and their mama! I truly believe God placed her in my life this year! She inspires me every time we talk! I don't know if I can handle sharing through basketball season!
I had a great time and I am sure we will have many more get together! I can't help but believe that God wanted me to build relationships with these people before I moved out of my home. I love all these girls and their babies!
In the spirit of hope, I am hopeful that one day we will move. I am thankful and content with my house now, but I foresee a move in my future:)
