Fa La La La La

We have been making a ton of sweets...so many that I am sick of sugar! It's a MIRACLE! A Christmas MIRACLE!  The kids have been helping me make our treats and they are not turning out as cute as I would like but we have had a lot of fun making them! This made me laugh because Georgia Kelley is such a copy cat! She sits like Harry, talks like Harry and is beginning to play like Harry!
 Tucker(AKA Kicker) elfed Harry's lunch!
Pinterest has totally made me a more fun mom!  Actually Pinterest has made me a better teacher too! Pinterest has stepped up my game in all aspects of my life! Notice the Ipad sitting right beside my seat where we made one of our many hand print projects!
Tucker was roasting marshmallows! When Harry saw him he said, "Mom don't be made at him...!" I am not doing a good job documenting his adventures!
 Practicing our elf breakfast!
 More treats!
Here we made really good Red Velvet cookies and they have been the family's favorite so far!
This is a book that I gave my grandmother last year and she read it while it recorded her. I can't get through it without crying! Hearing her voice brings a rush of peace and a sweetness that I can't describe. Georgia Kelley wants to read it over and over! I love that my kids get to keep a peace of her. Her love for reading was such a legacy.  I am really struggling this year with how things will be without her.  All the Christmas blogs are huge staples of our memories with her. I went through reading them and I noticed I wrote how hard it was to leave, or how it was a tear goodbye and last year Chad and I had to stay one more night because we couldn't bare to leave her.
We really got cooking this weekend for some of the little old ladies at church.  We have fallen in love with some widows! Harryism: "Mom, I am going to marry you." Me: "Harry you can't marry me, I am married to your daddy." Harry in a very sad voice: "Okay then, I will just be a widow."  You can tell we talk about them a lot! We love making them treats and taking them to their houses!

Harry loved dropping by their house! I felt bad that I didn't have time to stay and chat. While driving from house to house, Harry said. "Mom, I notice something, they all have the same hair."
Georgia Kelley had to help too. "I big girl, I help too." She has her dance clothes under that jacket!

Just a few pics from our days leading us to Christmas!
