He Has Risen Indeed!

This Easter we made the decision to forgo going to my parent's house and stay here in Bentonville.  I helped throw a party for my friend Ashley on Friday night and I teach the threes on Sunday morning. I didn't want to get a sub on Sunday because, it is such a fun story to share!  We planned on spending the afternoon at War Eagle Mill with Chad's parents and we also invited the Cherrys.  The Wares had to take care of Grandma last minute and so we spent it with the Cherrys!
A few attempts for photos with my kiddos! Harry insists bunny years! He kind of gets crazy when we are outside.  He was all over the place! We enjoyed a good ole southern meal at the mill!

My children are obsessed with Dennis and Kathy! They probably get it from me!  Chad and I love spending time with this couple! They have four of their own amazing children but, we take advantage of the time we get with them since their kiddos all live out of state:).  Kathy has become one of my closest friends and mentors in the last three years. She invests in me and we have grown to love them like family.

There were a lot of fun activities going on at the mill and we spent a lot of time just walking around and visiting with the Cherrys! We also had our fair share of cobbler  from the Bean Palace!

We missed our family but, feel very blessed to have spent such a sweet holiday with two of the most Godly people I know!  More pictures to come of the rest of our Easter celebrations!
