Hannah and Tyler's Wedding

These are a few unofficial pictures. I am starting out with the only shot we have of the bride. Brooklyn and Harry were honored to be the flower girl and ring bearer at Hannah and Tyler's wedding yesterday! The bride was beautiful, the groom was in the best of spirits, Brooklyn smiled at every opportunity, and Harry.... The pictures of him with me and Chad are accurate representations of his behavior before the wedding and during pictures. I am so proud...
When it came down to Harry and Brooklyn walking down the isle they did perfect. Well, down the isle was good. Once they got to the end Harry decided he wanted to sprint back to daddy. He was heard yelling, "Daddy, I did it, I done!"

These two LOVE each other! I am so glad Brooklyn puts up with him! She tried to whip him into shape a few times, but he didn't even mind her! B and I need to make a new plan!

The picture below may be the only picture of him smiling...so natural huh? There are shots where Harry is very happy. They are floating around somewhere and no I am NOT proud of them. The has his pants rolled up, shirt undone to the middle, suspenders hanging down, and a ball of sweat. He is happy though throwing rocks at the reception. What do you do to a two year old that just wants to be outside and running around? Maybe I am just in a warped mind of thinking that my child is very easy to be around until he is "forced" to be on stage. Harry owes Hannah....that is all I have to say!
On another note everyone else had fun! The wedding was beautiful in every way! Our favorite game is talking about our favorite moments and things of weddings. Chad's favorite was opening the doors for Tyler to see Hannah. My favorite was watching Harry bring her down the isle and the song that wedding party walked down to. My favorite things were the cake and programs. I can't wait to see more pics of this wonderful event. We feel so blessed to be related to Tyler! Harry seriously LOVES Tyler!

Harry the Entomologist

Harry is in love with bugs, like most little boys! He came up to me the other day and said, "Look mommy, I got a lady bug." You guessed it folks, there was no lady bug in sight but, a beetle/water bug/roach looking bug! YUCK! He is not afraid to crush them in his fingers. He is fascinated by this beetle that is stuck on his back!
Here in this laboratory you will see many different "scientific" containers used for capturing lightening bugs.
The bugs were originally in the wild of Poughkeepsie, AR. My Uncle Joe brought them to our house in big plastic bags(like around 100). He had paid a few kids to catch them for him. He is from CA and has a friend who has never seen a lightening bug. He wanted to show them to him before his friend died(he is on his death bed). Our mission was to find places to put the bugs so that they would not die on the flight and be well hidden to escape security! They were put in eye glass containers, pill boxes, and shoes! Mission was accomplished! They made it to LA alive!

Harry loved lightening bugs and Uncle Joe. We are still finding bugs that we didn't catch in the house! Those little guys are faster than they seem!

Totally Over the Twenties

This post is late, but my birthday was one of the best yet! The day started with a play date with some of the greatest friends and cake at the pool! That night Chad and I got to go out on a date and we hit up Shoguns(too good)! Does a day get any better? Pool, good friends, date with husband....bliss! I have decided that may be the perfect day!
I was also blessed enough got get some stellar gifts. I may get in trouble for posting this, but my bff, Kim got me American Idol tour tickets! I think that could be one of coolest gifts ever! I do not want to down play the other great gifts I received, but I thought it was note worthy.
I was able to top off my birthday with a brunch at Mimi's a few days later with five fabulous friends. I will say that getting to go to brunch and lunch with the girls is a big perk to not working! With all the fun estivities I did not get any pictures....bug!

Although all the attention, gifts, and time with friends was nice, I am really glad to be over the twenties. The twenties were fun, exciting, thrilling, care free, light, and a introduction to reality! I graduated from college, lived on my own, started my career, fell in love, bought my first house, got married, gave birth, and put a hold on my career all in 10 years. I laugh because I do not think I could have lived up my life any more than I did the last 10 years! That is just it. I am ready to live my life for my family that I have been blessed with. If you know me, you know there is not doubt I will get my time, but when it comes to down to it I want to live for my family for a while. I have been talking about being thirty constantly, because my closest friends here are in their mid or upper thirties. I sound like a teen who wants to be older, but I was feeling left out for still being in the twenty decade!
Thirty is what you make it. I don't plan on acting different, because I am married to Mr. Responsible. Marrying someone who takes life a little more seriously than I do gives me the green card to not take things so seriously! We have a great balance.
I need to quit rambling now, so I can go get my birthday pedicure!

Wednesday with Hillbillies and Peter Pan

Chad took off on Wednesday with the Hollands for a day at Branson! They gave us their buddy passes to SDC! I have not been in the summer since I was eleven! We went at Christmas, but it is a whole other park in the summer! Eden, Amy, Harry, and I took American Plunge. We all four wanted to go again!Chad and Shawn rode the coasters!
Harry loved every minute of Silver Dollar City. He was beyond good! Chad and I agreed that watching the kids experience the rides and sites were our favorite parts!
We were even more blessed to get tickets to see Peter Pan off Broadway! It was magical!
After the show we scrounged up the energy to eat at the Hard Luck Cafe! The kids enjoyed the fountain!
I got a shoutout for my birthday. That was so "fun"!
It was a very enjoyable and memorable day trip!

Papa Scores Big With Harry

Harry has been talking about how Papa is going to get him a Razorback baseball helmet! I have no clue where it came from or the idea. I do know he got to wear a helmet at one of our friends t-ball games over a month ago, but my word! He is obsessed with the idea of a helmet and a glove. Papa came through!
Harry was especially obsessed yesterday and I let him call "my Papa" and ask. I certainly did not expect him to go out and get a real helmet and glove. If you know the Wares, you know they support any sports involvement! Harry will not be lacking in the fan base or gear for any sport he chooses.

After the excitement with the helmet, out came the glove! Harry can always count on Papa to play football with him, now he will have to support his new baseball fetish! This is how Harry wanted to watch his morning cartoons today!

The Perfect Party

Mommy Quit Her Day Job! This is how we celebrated! We invited all of our closest friends and had a good ole' pool party!Harry was in the pool from 10-2 and did not slow down! He was in the party zone! I was too and loving having all of our favorite people in place! I am disappointed that we didn't get a picture of everyone there! Mine and Chad's mom were both there and there is no proof! Mr. Kaleb was on the move! It meant so much to me that Kaleb and Katie came all the way from LR! This baby is so good! I really wish they could have stayed a lot longer!

Callie Rose is in the hot pink swim suit! This is my friend's daughter who finally came to visit! We are hoping we will get more play dates with this little guy!

Harry and his three cousins! Does it get any better than this?
Will lives across the street and Harry thinks he is "THE MAN"! If their garage is open Harry starts yelling "WIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLL!!"
We were very lucky to have some older kids at the party to entertain and help parent's relax some! Five of my former students came and then Shelby and Cameron A. came with their mom. They were like rock stars to the little kids!
Leah(Will's mom" and Baby Asher! I was trying to stir the lemonade in one of my new drink dispensers that Ms. Linda(pic below) gave me! I am so excited about them(silly huh?)! Chad got to come for a couple of hours. He admitted he wished he would have taken off work the whole day! Linda and Trudy are his best friend's moms from hs! I love that we still keep in touch with them! I always enjoy visiting with them. I told Chad that I wish I could hang out with them all the time! They are so fun!

Who would have thought that Monday would be a good day for a party! Almost everyone on the invite list showed up! We were loving it! We were in super good company! I feel so blessed to have friend show have kids that Harry can hang with!

Part of the spread that Kim helped me put together! It was fun feeding everyone!

The highlight of the party were his out of town friends coming! Kim, Adalie and James came with Katie and Kaleb! I can not say enough of how excited we were that they came. I am ashamed to say this is the first time we have seen James in person! I am hopeful my schedule has cleared up enough that I can get more time with them!
Overall today was a SUCCESS! It was the perfect day to start off my "new career"!
