Dear Santa

You just can't beat the magic of Santa! Georgia Kelley sat on his lap and smiled(Chad wasn't quick enough on the camera) then she looked up at who was holding her and that is when she lost it!  Harry on the other hand LOVED seeing Santa and telling him his long list! He really wanted super hero stuff this year: costumes, Star War figurines,  castle(he got Batcave and that was perfect), swords, and at one point he said he wanted lights to go on his house(didn't get that this year)!
Our tradition is we leave the house for Santa and we spend the night Christmas Eve at my grandmother's house.  Santa comes there too, then when we come home, we walk into a home that has been hit by Santa.  We ended up staying at my grandmother's a day longer than expected, so we are dirty, and not dressed in our Christmas clothes.   They saw their gifts the day after Christmas. They were a hit and Harry has NOT asked for anything since....two days.

Once Georgia Kelley got her food, she was putting it in and out of ther kitchen.  She loved it and now it is in our kitchen and I might add that it matches perfectly!

iPhone Catch Up

While I am getting my hair done...

I am taking the time to update with pics from the last two weeks or so!
Georgia Kelley loves the books Uncle Mark and Krista sent Georgia Kelley! They are her favorite and she now has a wide selection of "Thats Not My...". I highly suggest this series my fried Katie introduced us to!

Oh funny cousins!!

Chad and I were able to help make Jillian's wish cone true! She will be swimming with the dolphins in less than a week!!

Last Saturday we got to celebrate the season with our precious life group! It ended up being girls on one end and boys on the other! I LOVE these girls!!

-

Some of the guys darted out of the pic!

Harry got tackled! My favorite kid's book is Stand Tall Molly Lou Melon and this picture reminds me of Molly Lou tackling Ronald Durkin! Another must buy book!!

Harry cuddling two o his favorite gifts: Carebear and gun!

Had to send this pic to my gal Kim!!

Oh how this girl loves books and it brings me great joy!! I caught gerbil here reading with all the books from her table! All on her own, no set up for this backdrop and props!

How cute is her apron she made at school! I can't wait til she is old enough to craft and make candy with me at Christmas!! I have many dreams for this one!

Chad surprised me with this amazing precious special gift for Christmas! He is an all-star at Hooking me up at Christmas! This year is no exception! Infer most of my presents from him throughout the weeks before and tada!! My friend Mandy did it behind my back! I am sure she was worried I would walk in her front door without calling! I admit I wanted a painting of him at this stage in life but hated to spend the money on it!! I am in live with this gorgeous picture!!

This last weekend we had ton going on! One being our work parties! I only took quick snapshots of Chads party. He has worked for this company for almost 6 years! We have built some wonderful relationships with these people! I look forward to getting together with them because we have so much fun together! I probably talk Robbia coworkers and their wives as much as he does! Thanks to Facebook we can keep in touch so well! Matt and Amelia are in the process of adopting from Ethiopia!! They are precious and have been at This company as long as Chad has! I always look to Amelia for fashion advice!

Hollan and her hubs! Hollan has a baby about the same age as Georgia Kelley! We are overdue for a playdate!

We were able to make the Brown 's Annual Christmas Brunch! Tara is so good to always take good pics!! Georgia Kelley was acting very abnormal! She dis love her some Tara and Shane!

Dean Christmas

We always know that going to my grand's house is going to be a good time! With 14 kids under the age of 12, it gets wild! We love it! Here is the matriarch! She knows how to raise a wonderful family!  I have learned a lot from her!
Good ole' Granddad!  I love that he stays in that chair and ALWAYS has a smile and a game on!  How many grands do you know who both have iphones and ipads!  They are super cool!
With two sets of twin boys in our family, it is hard to get them all straight!  They don't mind if we call them by the other's name!  Sweet stuff here!

There is a good group of girls who LOVE Emily! It cracks me up how much they want to take pictures and dance with her!  So cute! I am sure Georgia Kelley will want to do everything like them when she is older! Good thing she has a cousin close to the same age to play with! Why didn 't I get more pics with Ellery?

Dezi's new dog was a BIG hit!

This picture below is so funny because, Emily is mimicking something someone we know very well does! I won't call her out, but she seems to do this in pictures and it is soooo funny!
Of course Tutu, makes all the pictures with Georgia Kelley!  The dress was courtesy of Grandmother, you will be seeing it a lot more! I think it is my favorite!
Ashley and Ellery joined in!  Ashley is going to do some mission work in Africa this summer, and I have the itch to go with her!

Baby Bo was without his sisters this time! Sad sad sad...for us, not them! They are at Disney...can't wait to spend Christmas Eve with them!  It isn't the same with out O and C!
It was a great time, I kind of wish Grandmother and Granddad lived farther so we would have to stay the night! Then everyone would get to spend more time together! Otherwise we have to get back for naps.  I have great Christmas memories at her house! I don't know who loves going to their house more in our family! I have to pull Chad away from the conversations, Harry away from all the playing, and GK pulled me away from the great girl talks!  Georgia Kelley was done!  Too much fun for her! I know my grandmother is reading this so, I will take the opportunity to tell her how much I love seeing her! I appreciate how much attention she shows my kids and makes me feel so loved!  I love how she keeps up with my Facebook posts and blog posts!  She is the best!  Oh and Harry had to have his new blanket, new pjs, and new pillow to sleep with him last night and tonight! You did good!
Rambling post...I know! I don't want to fall behind this year on the Christmas posts!

Neighborly Cookie Exchange

The story starts that we have lived in this house for almost six years! I loved living here the first two years but, the plan was for us to sell our house at two years! Obviously, I don't have control over how quickly my house sells because it was for sale for three plus years.  A lot had to do with our neighborhood was over built, not to mention our town!  I will say, I am not miserable here, I like being in my home and I LOVE the closeness to certain things. I DO NOT LOVE how far it is to get to the interstate..Chad works a ways away....not fun for him either.  We finally took it off the market for a little while. In that little while God has put some amazing neighbors in my life and we have built some great relationships.  Now, remember this is a new neighborhood when we moved here and I loved my neighbors before...but they ALL moved! I feel extremely blessed to have some great girls living around me..even if they do move before I do! Hopefully they aren't going anywhere. I decided since I knew most of the girls around me and they didn't know each other, I would host a little cookie exchange. My neighbor Melanie requested one and of course I ran with it.  It was a sweet hit! They all stay home and have kids. Well, Mel and Kat do not have kids, but they kind of count as kids because, the kids LOVE them!
Avery is our little friend across the street! Love her mom!  She has a great post about this good ole fashion exchanged.
We used the tripod to take timed pics! It took ten at a time....we started getting goofy!

Noah and Lincoln came too! We love those two and their mama! I truly believe God placed her in my life this year! She inspires me every time we talk! I don't know if I can handle sharing through basketball season!
I had a great time and I am sure we will have many more get together! I can't help but believe that God wanted me to build relationships with these people before I moved out of my home. I love all these girls and their babies!
In the spirit of hope, I am hopeful that one day we will move. I am thankful and content with my house now, but I foresee a move in my future:)
