I am Seeing a Personality Folks!

Harry has spent a lot of time with other babies in the past but, not in huge groups since he has become so actively mobile! It brought a huge peace to me watching him interact and in awe of all the other babies. He was the youngest in the mass chaos except for his little friend Taylor, who stayed close to her mommy. There were about 30 kiddos in the lot that our life group babysat on Saturday night and Harry soaked up everyone of them! We started off in the gym and he went full blast crawling all over the place, he would chase balls the whole time if we let him. He spent the last half of the night in a room crowded with 3 and under kids. Even though he was the youngest he held his ground. It is no surprise that toys and seats were taken from him, but I guess that is just how it goes! I do not think he will have any trouble at his child care this fall, if anything he will love the social interaction. He is definitely an extrovert. Captain Harry
Notice all of the goldfish everywhere! Those things dried tears quick! We vacuumed probably a thousand crushed goldfish. Harry wasn't afraid to join in on the phenomenon.
Harry has gotten where he gets so excited about different things. He gets giddy about certain people and things. He gets excited about grandparents, making the bed, baths, playing in the grass, the swimming pool, and chasing balls. There is video of him getting excited about a soccer ball. I think it is a toy he can't control, so it fascinates him.
He has also been doing a lot of dancing, it started when he began pulling up. He shakes his hips and bounces his knees. He loves to do it in church over the pew. He will sing at the same time a "Goo Goo Ga Ga" song. Look out BROADWAY!
Since he has started crawling he is very cuddly! We are LOVING it! I figure it is because he would get so frustrated he couldn't get to something that he did not feel content just sitting in our arms.
Chad and I are excited about our new find. I decided to not buy baby food and just make my own. I was buying organic, mashing my own bananas, and feeding him the DHA baby foods. It took Chad and I about 2 1/2 hours to cook and freeze about a month's worth of vegetables. It is fresher, has zero preservatives, cheaper(I am talking at least $50 a month cheaper), and in my personal opinion; easy! Email me if you would like to know how to do it, I got most of my info from a friend and a book she let me borrow. It has lists of foods a baby can and can not eat and at what times. Email me if you have recipes with meat in them, we aren't introducing meat until 9 months, but I would love to know any recipes you other moms have!
