I am sure we are in the majority when it comes to the many Easter egg hunts we have the week before Easter! It is crazy! I am not even counting the ones Harry makes me have in the house! I am so over eggs! I took pics of the ones at church from last Sunday! It was a great party the teachers put on and my kids loved it!
This outfits were from Mimi from last year! I took the opportunity to replay since they fit!
Georgia Kelley was into the ball chasing!
Harry has chosen to use this basket this year because it is "bigger"! He does not care that it is a girl one!
Oh I love Ms. Madeline and so does Georgia Kelley!
Craft time!
So my fail part! My friend told me about all the resurrection foods you could do with your kids. Since we were limited on time, I decided to do the rolls and it didn't go so well! You are suppose to talk about how the marshmallows are Jesus and you wrap him in the tomb (croissants). You dip in him butter and sugar first. I didn't think it would be a big deal to use colored bunny marshmallows and you know I am not a perfectionist and sealing the dough around the marshmallow was not that important to me either! The kids LOVED it!
The idea is you open the croissants and they are hollow..well ours were but, Harry yells, "Mom, Jesus melted and his blood is every where!" He refused to eat them and I didn't even try to make a lesson out of this! Seriously....next time I will read the directions!

That is hilarious about the rolls not turning out!! Even funnier what Harry said!! If it makes you feel any better, our Resurrection cookies didn't work either. They were supposed to be hollow too, and they were everything but hollow!! They didn't even taste good. My perfectionist in me felt like a failure, but to the kids it was a fun activity! Good job for trying! : )
